I had an interesting encounter with a Christian lady. She said she was about to be raped by someone in a locked room. As the man was about to commence she said she prayed to the god and immediately the rapist saw someone she couldn't see and the rapist started running and screaming in the locked room, saying please don't kill me.

What do you think? Is it possible this event actually happened or she's making up a scenario to cover up the trauma of the rape in her mind? I was baffled by the story as I don't have any concrete way to hypothesise a rational explanation.

The conditioning of the society we are in. As if people who don't believe in a god are not surviving just as well as believers in god(s) or as if believers are some how immune from the vagaries of life. If they can rebuke devils and it works how are they not rebuking cancer and other deadly diseases that are killing believer and unbeliever alike.

The love of God for us

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

When Adam sinned, he lost the direct access he initially had with God. (Genesis 3) God decided to send his only begotten son (Jesus) to pay the price for our sins on the cross of calvary because of his love for us. When Christ resurrected, he restored all privileges that we once had and brought redemption to us all. All we need is to believe that he died for our sin and has once again granted us direct access with God. No longer through an intermediary! (Mathew 27:50-53).

Why did the Catholic Church not exorcise demons of paedophilia from their priests?

Or is that a normal behaviour?

I have more complex questions like this but let's start with this one.
