I will be using the christians chatbox as a house in the Campus. This will be inline with 'Nairaland A story' following the life of Hbg and co but in a form of a play. As all Universities have Campuses in different places, The University of Nairaland also have different Campuses known as Sections.

Our campus have a sub campus for Muslims and houses of different religions.

Outside the Literature department, new students HumbledbyGrace and Uj_sizzle are sitting on the green lawn both minding their businesses. A bee keeps buzzing in circles near Uj_sizzle who had on a cream yellow floral long dress that fit her like it was tailored exactly for her. Both girls knew each other's names but have never talked to each other.

ACT ONE SCENE2

Hbg is in her room working on a project the Religion Professor has assigned to her, its poetry night and the guys and Uj_sizzle had decided to have some fun throwing punch lines at each other. After a three hours of torture the guys decided to call it a night and returned to their various rooms. Hbg had decided to sit the poetry night out, it wasn't her thing. She calls Uju.

[size=13pt]Hbg[/size]: I heard you guys, not that I wanted to but you were disturbing my peace.

[size=13pt]Hbg[/size]: Thought you would never ask. The Religion Campus has some level headed peeps you know? And I saw an empty duplex there. We could campaign for a lease then move in there. And the Muslim sub Campus girl? Its beautiful and quite, its not like this rondavale we call a hostel.

ACT ONE SCENE 3

Its a lovely Monday afternoon, a month after the two girls had worked together on a proposal for Christians to have their own duplex on Campus. The housing department had signed off the documents over to them and they opened they house by giving away fliers to interested individuals. Hbg had decided to pass the message through a microphone.

[size=13pt]Hbg[/size]:This is a house dedicated to all the Christian students in this Campus, it will serve as a boarding house for all interested individuals. We hope that you will enjoy your stay with us as we dedicate our days in this University to serve the Lord by being a brother and a sister to each other, all in all being the body of Christ. We will hold prayer meetings, have bible studies, and a whole lot more.

[size=13pt]Uj_sizzle[/size]: (Pulling Hbg down from a chair she was standing.) Gracie, that's enough joor, the fliers will do too.

Heavenly Father, we humbly ask You to be the foundation of this house, we ask Jesus to be the centre of it father. Please abundantly bless all those who will live here as your servants, to positively influence the lives of others.

Anoint those who will share their expertise and resources of knowledge with love and affection for one another as apostle Paul said in Romans 12vs 9-10;

“Be sure your love is true love, hate what is sinful, hold onto what is good, love each other as christian brothers and show respect for each other.”

Guide and protect us against all evil. Please Lord, keep all evil doers, that have bad intentions to discourage Nlanders christian community,away from here. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen!

Later that Evening; In the big kitchen. There are two huge double door fridges, wall unit with lockers, six plate defy glass stove with a roof oven. Four chairs circled a waist length table, fitted neatly on a black ceramic floor. Uj_sizzle and HumbledbyGrace are preparing refreshments for the expected guests dancing to Frank Edwards tune 'Today.'

[size=15pt]Reyginus[/size]: (Walks in a drowsy swagger, a bottle of buzugee's red wine in a hand flowered by a stream of stuttering blood vessels. Looks at the flier in his hand and at the busy ladies and loses confidence as he tries to light a conversation) h....e....ll....(Ends up swallowing his words. Turns around like the shy boy, head bowed, walks few steps back to the door.) As it turns out, to strike the match for the light he becomes the usher.)

I would like to say focus on God, do as Jesus instructed us to do, let life flow everyday without worrying about who your going to marry because you know Jeremiah 29vs11 says He has plans for our futures. We just need to put our lives into his hands, let him work with us for our own good and our lives will just be a pure reflection of christ.

[size=13]Pastormustwacc[/size]: (loses his confidence, and speaks with a trembling voice.) I am trying to get over depression, lost 6 patients over the weekend in medical emergency. 5 of which are questionable. I am now wondering, is it that I am not praying enough or?


[size=13pt]Hbg[/size]: That's sad pastor,I have always asked myself how you doctors feel like when you loose ur patients. One person dying is too much for me but you see it happen every day.

It hurts even more when they were not saved, will pray with you on this one. I am sorry.

[size=13pt]Uj_sizzle[/size]: sometimes things happen, just remember that you're simply an instrument of healing, but even at that all your medical cannot be won because death still knocks at the door of some people. May God give you the strength to accept defeat and let go of things u can't change. Always remember you win some and lose some but the families will always be grateful that you tried.

[size=13]Pastormustwacc[/size]: Nay let Reyginus be, I was close to settling down of recent, but had some issues with spouse family. But that has nothing to do with the frustrating loss of patients, (5 of which would not have died, but died all the same).

[size=13pt]Uj_sizzle[/size]: Every trade comes with it's own perks, I guess this is yours. It would be weird if you didn't feel the slightest pain at the death of another...it only makes you human. All is well.

[size=13pt]Hbg[/size]: Yes all is well indeed, Pastor, do you mind telling us what realy happened?


[size=13]Pastormustwacc[/size]: May their souls rest in peace. I felt that 5 out of those 6 patients should not have died at all. They died due to failure of implementation of certain government policies. Ratio of medical personnel to patients is too small under some big-time government establishments. So really, we cannot do enough for the patients, and that Is why i feel so bad.


[size=13pt]Hbg[/size]: Government negligence in public hospitals is rising like the price of garri.

There is nothing you could've done, please don't feel bad.

(Uj_sizzle and Reyginus leaves the room. Uj_sizzle runs upstairs as Rey goes back to his quaters outside Campus, with a promise that he will call again. After a while Pastormustwac leaves, leaving Hbg along clearing the table and washing the dishes.)

[size=13pt]Uj_sizzle[/size]: dagr8 and Seyi as you both can see our house has twenty rooms which means only twenty people will stay here. No sharing is allowed, its a school rule even though we would have loved to share. The first floor, downstairs is for the guys as they tend to be the noisy ones. We have Reyginus already occupying one room down there though I doubt he will stay for long as he says he doesn't live in one place for more than two months.

Everyone will have his/her own key for the main door and their room. We only have one laundry room so we will do laundry in turns to avoid stampede as the room is just a size of a matchbox.

Cooking and cleaning will be done in pairs, everyone will clean, so we don't want guys telling us cooking is for women only.

We will have the rules and cleaning time table as soon as we reach the expected number because we have to submit them to the professors around here who will have to approve and then assign someone to check on us on daily basis.

Please the rooms which are yet to be occupied are not locked so feel free to choose rooms you like. The keys are at the back of every door. I have to go too, make sure you lock up when you leave the house. I will be coming back with Hbg.

Enters Uju, Hbg and dagr8. Its evening, all tired, lazy to cook and decide to eat cereals, after doing the dishes they relax in the lounge watching cartoons.
