'big' sites have been shut down cUz of copyright infringements. D best u can do here is an mp3 ringtone request thread, not a full mp3 request thread. No difference between posting full mp3s nd posting cracked software.

@dual core.Now,this infringement thing has got me all confused.For instance,Dotsis has loads of cracked softwares,some of which the cracked file comes out two days after the official version of the file.Now,why hasn't Dotsis been shut down?And does this infringement thing applies only to mp3?

Just2Nice, how u dey? when a site is on US servers, bad things happen if your site is spotted with copyright violation, that's if your site is spotted. If u're on russian servers, most times, anything goes. Hence the reason u'll hardly see a warez site running on US servers.

Talking about dotsis, two years ago, when i was a junior member i was very close to being banned cUz i posted full MP3s, the admin gave me the same advice i'm giving JT today, post MP3 ringtones instead. Late last year DotSIS was shut down for infringements partaining to having cracked Gameloft games on their servers.
