Just as in other countries, Nigeria has many native names from her various tribes and regions. I'll like us to discuss these names and their meanings in English. I will name a few Igbo names I know. You're invited to join, ur tribe and location doesn't matter, as far ur a Nigerian

Igbo names

Chukwudi/Chidi - There is God

Chikodinaka - In God's hands

Uchechukwu/Uchechi - God's will

Ebere - Mercy

Chidiebere - God is merciful

Ngozi - Blessing

Chigozie - God bless

Okechukwu - God's share

Onyinye - God's gift

Ekene - Glory

Ekenedilichukwu - Glory be to God

Ugo - Grace

Ugochukwu - God's grace

Ugochukwu means Gods pride. Not Gods grace. God's grace is Ebere Chukwu- Gods grace or Gods mercy
