Earlier today I went past Okokomaiiko area of Lagos today and right in front of a hotel/event center at Igbo-Elerin area, there was a bloated dead human body lying there! And to my surprise everybody around (men and women) were just walking past it very closely and the next thing that came to my mind was are we still sane in this country? Do people have to go so close to a dead body that is so bloated and waiting to burst? Why was the body left for so long by the authorities? Many questions running thru my mind.

U also, jst walked behind it, without reporting to the police, so did everyone else. We r in a country where authorities ve failed woefully, pple r scared n do not trust d authorities, so dey tend to ignore it.

D same thing happened of recent in edo, wer a raped gal was left to die in a market, despite her showing signs of life, pple jst left her n continue with der daily activities till she finally died. In naija ur OYO.

Its very sad, cos in developed countries, jst a phone call to 911, in few mins d body will be moved. May God help us in this country.
