Gionee M3mini Discussion Thread [HOT] by xck123: 1:43pm On Sep 04, 2015
After Gionee launched the durable phone M2mini(3000mAh battery and Lollipop) a month ago, which with premium design and affordable price success in the entry lever smartphone market.

Antutu benchmark leaks out the spec of it’s new phone named M3mini. Gionee Marathon series mainly famous for it’s durable phone in Nigeria, from the name, we believed that this phone should be also packed with the monster battery. Here is the spec showed in Antutu as below,

Brief spec as blow:
Model:M3mini
Display:4.5”, FWVGA(854*480), IPS
CPU:MT6735M 64-bit Quad Core 1.0GHz
Camera: 5M+ 2M
Memory: 8GB ROM+ 1GB RAM expandable to 32GB
Latest android 5.1 lollipop

Battery: 4000mAh(confirmed from of the gionee engineer)

From MT6735 CPU information, we checked the MediaTek official website, and showed most probably M3mini support 4G LTE network.
Here is the introduction of MT6735:
MediaTek MT6735 is a 64-bit quad-core World Mode 4G LTE platform based on the ARM® Cortex®-A53 64-bit processor with ARM Mali™-T720 graphics. Designed for the ‘super-mid’ market, MT6735 delivers a premium mobile experience and gives consumers a wider choice of smart devices at more affordable prices.

After we found the leaks out of Antutu benchmark, we browse the GSM arena and searched from google, even we visit the China and India website. But failed to find out any information from Gionee M3mini, so we try to contact Gionee marketing team, and they confirmed that M3mini
is customize for Nigeria, which means that phone won’t launch in China and India. I think from my personal opinion, Gionee is becoming more and more valuable to Nigeria market.

As we know, the power supply is the most headache problem in Nigeria, and their success of Marathon M2/M3/M2mini, and unveiled flagship M5(coming in 15th, Sep.), they try to make famous for its durable phone here.

Under our once again requirement, gionee marketing team released a few of M3mini pic as below.

Also gionee marketing people said M3mini will be launched in Nigeria in late of Sep. Till now, they didn’t release the price yet.

And you " time filled up busy man" had the time to read..... Type on quote.. Load page.. And your little time and mb to quote someone who is "jobless" cos he wrote okay...

That says much about you cheesy

Pot calling the Kettle black... cheesy

But to spare you the embarrassment... "the OK was a modified version of an earlier quote and since the person I quoted wasn't worth my effort, I decided to just let it go with OK"

So next time you try to make a "hit" online on someone...

Try and reconsider what's underneath it..

Peace out cheesy

Because they out of goodwill are trying to make Phones that are affordable to low income earners and the poor.

I see that as excellent decision and the sales of such Phones confirm it too.

If you want Phones with all the super specifications combined then you have to shell out 100k and above to buy the likes of iphone, samsung, sony etc

Yes people care about big battery, 4G LTE,Lollipop. But you must present a cheaper price and you see mad excitement. Lets say you offer this phone for 20k or less and you see super explosive sales.

I also noticed that gionee big batteries don't have "fast charging tecnology" . Thats why people rushed the infinix hot note. Big battery plus fast charging tech.

So gionee should upgrade and you see people flood more and more than before.

Summary: Average specs, big battery, fast charging tech, cheap price wins Nigerian and African market.

yes, that's right.
big battery, fast charge, lower power consunption, perfect combime. but M3mini i think they loacte in middle to lower end fone, they also provide 5V/2A charger, much faster than 5V/1A.
so they mainly point to provide affordable fones. and M5 already packed with fast charge in d spec.

Wow! The battery consumption stat looks appealing., also 4G LTE.. well lets give it a try. I so much like the fact that you added the processor information.. MT6735, I think its one of the best in MTK processors.. consumes little power and highly effective.. Good job

.
Please be honest. No phone existing can stay more than 2 days of constant use without the battery hitting zero.

Except its on standby without any use at all.
Re: Gionee M3mini Discussion Thread [HOT] by Ryanxu: 7:03pm On Sep 14, 2015
that's because you didn't use gionee Marathon series fone, they focus on durable fones.
i said i used d fone as backup, that means i use them not very frequently, but not just standby. i use to connect wif and make fone call, not connect the data to search the internet
