@Op, what or is there a difference between OBE, Astral travel and Soul travel?

OBE covers all experiences that takes you beyond the physical consciousness and includes astral and soul travel.

Astral Travel is the process that involves soul slipping out of the physical wearing the astral body and exploring the astral and physical planes. Astral travel is limited to the astral and physical plane. It is unnatural and exposes the individual to danger while out of the physical body.

Soul travel involves the expansion of souls awareness to other planes of existence while still retaining full consciousness of the physical body. That means someone can be chatting with another person and be soul traveling at the same time. With soul travel there is no limitations as soul can be aware of what is happening in many planes of God at the same time without leaving the physical body. It is a very natural process as it uses one of the aspects of soul which It shares with God which is being omnipresent .

If you are open to the Holy Spirit, you will find truth coming to you through the actions and words of other people.

Many seekers of truth have the process of truth in reverse order. They believe if one learns how to work with crystals, symbols, numerology, etc, they will unfold spiritually. There is this strangeness about you Ben that is admirable. I don't know you but you write and sound off humble. I had an ECK friend in University. He was the one who opened my eyes or consciousness a bit. I remember reading sounds by the river and I was like this man sounds like Jesus - though I don't know how Jesus sounds.

As per the earth, it is indeed a very wonderful place for spiritual growth as the hate and segregation tests how much love you can generate in order to rise above it and become a master of any negative situation that comes your way.

Divine Spirit is also called the Audible Life Stream, because it can experienced audibly as Sound. It is awareness of this Sound that distinguishes Eckankar from many other religions.

When Soul is ready, the Mahanta links it with this Sound. This allows Soul to travel at its own pace back to God.

Thanks for the correction. A nice way to describe earth. The hate on earth is just epic. You try to decipher it and it marvels you. Why can't we all just get along?

Honestly, I don't want to come back to earth again after this lifetime and I hope the infinite consciousness is hearing me. Karma or no karma - enough is enough for me on earth.

There is the branch of Eck known as Eck-Vidya..."Eck" meaning Holy-Spirit and "Vidya" meaning "knowledge"...

Seriously there is no problem HU can not help you with but you do not direct God on how to bring the solution. If your problem is that you need money, sing HU and surrender your money issues to God and be alert to the answers that will come .

Growing spiritually in the inner planes is so difficult because there is less negativity there. For any level of spirituality gained there must be an equal level of negativity to test the soul.
It is only in highly negative places like earth you can defend your spiritual doctorate degree by facing a highly charged negative trial.

For example when Jesus was hung on the cross and he was being taunted by the people to save himself if he is really the son of God.
He had the power to not just save himself but to also destroy them all. But it was a test of power vs love and forgiveness which he passed in flying colours by saying father forgive them for they know not what they do.
This is the reason why earth is important in spiritual growth.
