We all grew up watching some really epic movies with unforgettable super heroes, anti-heroes and villains. As technology continues to evolve, a lot of these old movies, many of them featuring Marvel comic characters have been reinvented and repackaged. What I find interesting is the very vast difference between the characters of old and their modern versions.

Take the "Amazing" Spiderman for example. I screamed when I saw the two versions

I mean, what tha?!? The 1977 Spiderman looks like a nightmare creature about to pounce on one hapless victim of satanic oppression. If I see him in my dreams, I will rush to MFM for deliverance. Lmao!!

From Captain America, Hulk, Dr Strange, Thor, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Wolverine to Iron Man and so many more, see them below

I think the 2008 Joker is far creepier. This 1966 looks exactly like what he is: a cheerful clown

Lol. No contest. I wonder, didn't these old characters ever feel awkward dressed in these costumes?

I don't think I'm particularly impressed with both versions. The 1994 version are brighter and more cheerful looking, though. Like characters from Baywatch...

Is it me or does the 1990 Flash look a trifle 'odd'?

I agree. He looks reettarded grin

The difference is their ages. Hugh Jackman had no packs in 2000, but fast forward 13 years on... packs overload!!! I see they also got rid of the chest hair. Lol

Nna enh, the akpa obi gives a new meaning to the word 'sinewy' cheesy cheesy

I loved Robocop then, and I love the 2014 version even more.

Although the 2014 version is a bit creepy embarassed

You can't beat Samuel L. Jackson. His swag as Nick Fury is unbeatable.

Personally I can't get enough of Captain America: Ice Prince (or worrefa)

I had the biggest woman crush on the 1975 Wonder Woman. I always looked forward to the show on LTV 8. She was sexy, beautiful and strong!! For me the old version is the very best.

O yeah, I LOVE the old Wonder Woman.

Swedish actor Dolf Lundgren (Universal Soldier) made a mess of the character. The movie was a hot mess and box office bomb. On the bright side though, Dolf was super hot and darkly mysterious in the bloody movie.

I watched Dolf Lundgren's version last year. That movie is 'lubbish', as my Igbo brethren will say. Ahn ahn!! What were they thinking?? undecided

Hulk...SMASH!!!! I really don't like both versions. 1978 Hulk looks constipated while his 2012 counterpart has too much CGI going on.

O yeah. The 1977 version looks like a mad man covered in green paint, while the newer one is...I don't even know what that is undecided

I'd go with the 1978 Hulk. That CGI thing PUTS me off every time.

1978 Dr Strange looks like a love-vendor with all that tacky blings. When I saw the character, Charmillionaire's "Riding Dirty' began playing in my head. Lol

They see me rolling,

They hating

They try to see me riding dirty

The guy looks like a modaeffing P.I.M.P cheesy

I've been posting comic book characters. I've forgotten about my favourite spy/detective shows.
