I have a friend who has OCD.
He is obsessed with things being brand new.
He always wants to be brand new, infact, he wishes he could o back to the day he was born and start a new life.
He has changed his number so many times, in the space of 1 year he has had 12 numbers.
He has constantly changed email address, because he wants a ‘new’ one – he has even run out of email combinations for his email address with the emalprovider, with multiple email providers
He has even changed his name at one point ut changed it back
He always wants to re-invent himself, and be a new person
Always doing factory reset on his phone, always cleaning his house
Always changing school and jobs
How can he stop this behaviour?
Church hasn’t worked for him
I remember when he bought abrand new laptop but because he felt he had contaminated it – he sold his laptop for 2nd hand on the day he bought it, because he wants a brand new one!

I don't believe your friend has a problem. He should have been changing friends too and you should have long stopped being his friend.

But let just pretend his problems are real, he will marry a woman and divorce her on the way home from the ceremony. He will be on a flight and jump down from it so as to go catch another flight. He will dress up get out and quickly return home every five minutes he is out to change to new clothes. When he dies, he will wake up in his casket, demand a new one and die again.

He can contact me for his problem. My charges are not expensive. He will need saliva from a live tiger, the intestines of a 3 day old cockroach and some other things.

If someone has OCD they shud not go to the church or nairaland , they should see a psychiatrist.

U and I know he is not safe.

Very soon, he wil do more harm to himself and the people he loves.
