Pls my dear nairalanders,pls i need some advise frm the gurus of this phone section,my memory card contacted a very strong virus which my antivrus cannot even scan the card, am afraid of loosing all my raw files and musics. I ave tried puting my card to my comp.system to back the files up so that i can format it and restore the files,but it is showing me some stupid things and folders written in an unkown lang. like blocks and chinese,and the are unable to delete, and i cant see my main files. I ave use Avira mobile, netquin antivirus, virus scan, to scan it but i couldnt even scan it(the card).Pls i need an advice on what kind of strong antivrus am going to use to wipe the virus or what to do inorder not to loose all my file cos i dont want to format it without backing it up.My phone model is Nokia 6680

Well you are saying that your memory card has a virus. And the software showing any message in the different language. I think its your software installation problem. When you installed it than you have choose that language. You have to choose the English language so that it will provide you all of the information in English. And you have virus in your memory card than you have to choose Quick hill Mobile anti virus software that I am using. Working fine and scan all of the viruses.

Is not that i changed it to another language, see when i inserted the card to my system through cardreader the normal files appeared in their normal language and after adding some music and video files to it from a china phone mem. card, then when i inserted to my phone, it started misbehaving by hiding all the files in it, and even created a folder called Trashn in my phone but it cant open nor delete either through the system or the phone.Pls which reliable antivirus am i to use wether in the phone or system to clean the virus.Pls help!!!

remove your card from d phone and slot into a card reader. Feed into your system(laptop or desktop) then format the memory card. i'm afraid u might lose your saved data in there. but its most likely the phone itself might have d virus in it, meaning your might format the phone too.
