I can say that Nigeria has a big problem with tribalism. Majority of Yorubas discriminate against the Ibos, majority of the Ibos discriminate against the Yorubas. same with the Hausas they either discriminate or face discrimination. this is horrible and irritating and shameful, being a nigerian myself. I can say that this form of discrimination going on in Nigeria is worse than the ones in UK and USA and CANADA - anyone want to dispute me? Discrimination in Nigeria even happens in public offices and even at the hospitals. what a shame. cry

Well, I remember this one time while in Lagos, there was this event that was going on. I don't know the name of the event and I can't remember exactly what went on though, but I distinctly remember that my brother and I were watching from our window and we saw two men hauling one bull past our apartment complex. I'm guessing it was going to be part of the event. There were lots of colors and the people seemed to be enjoying themselves. We never got to go down to see the event up close, but I remember that I liked what I was seeing from out of my window. That's my experience with tribalism in Nigeria.
