i and my friend were invited by our neighbors daughter for thanks giving in one of those catholic church. we arrived four minute late and we discovered the gate was locked and it an order from the reverend father we had no option than to go back home and it my first time of worshiping with them. my question is that is it right to shut the gate amides late comers or God should do the judging

That is how some catholic church do.if you had waited a litle longer the door would be open.once the Gospel is on the doors are shut down so that peaple can concentrate and avoid distractions from peaple loitering about.sorry for your experience,nest time wait for some time.

Scale that fence & if that Reverend Father is filled with the Holy Spirit, he will invite you into his personal chambers.

Make sure you have vaseline though.

we arrived before first reading and we even knocked at the gate to draw their attention which they were aware but all to no avail

I personally find this hard to believe. You said 4mins late, it's a pure lie, cos in 4mins the mass barely start, so you can still go in.
secondly you say "gate" another lie, the compound gate of any Catholic Church is always open on Sundays, probably it's the entrance door to the church, you are referring to that i can agree, cos it's usually Close temporarily expecially in part of the mass that need attention and not your distractions of walking here and there looking for seat.
I see your knocking at the door a little disrespectful, you wouldn't have being the only one there, always ask questions thanks
