It has been a profound privilege to live under your reign as you have never ceased to distinguish yourself as an advocate of peace, a voice of honesty and beacon of forthrightness.

As a loyal subject and the youngest member of your cabinet, I enjoy a special relationship with you and have known you for several years as one of the most friendly, patriotic Nigerian monarchs who relates excellently and seamlessly with people from all spheres of human endeavour.

Igwe, we have been inspired over the years, by your impressive conduct as a father, patriot and highly respected traditional ruler who has immeasurable love for his people and great faith in God. From your days in the Eastern Outlook Group of newspapers where you served as the commercial manager for the mid western region, you have proven your competence as a tested manager of men and resources. Undoubtedly, today there can be no gainsaying that your five-decade reign has been marked by unprecedented peace, development and prosperity in Nnewi.
