Pastor Leke Adeboye, son of RCCG General Overseer Pastor E.A. Adeboye, took to his Instagram handle to share his observation about Nigerian politicians' approach to religion, IgbereTV reports.

He stated that Nigerian politicians only become strong church members when elections are coming. He predicted that as election draws near, he's certain all restrictions placed on church activities due to the coronavirus pandemic will be removed.

Pastor Leke forgot saying that is when the Churches also cash out most from the politicians.

They prefer welcoming the politicians during election for their money to restricting them from using the churches for election campaign

Mr Leke shouldn't tell us this, he should rather tell his fellow Pastors who worship politicians when elections are near all in a bid to get brown envelope.


He should urge his fellow Pastors not to pretend and hit the nail on the head whenever politicians come to Church.

They should tell them the truth and the truth only

Politicians will go to any length to win elections in Nigeria because political positions in Nigeria are VERY LUCRATIVE!

And they desert religious houses after winning the election

Let them (MOG) speak truth to power at all times.
