Personally I think you guys are giving joagbaje too much attention whivh he actually craves. Like his oga pastor chris he loves cheap publicity and that is exactly what you are giving him. Left to me he should just be ignored but I appreciate the fact that as christians we must fight all appearances of evil. That aside the poisonous gospel he spews is already destroying lives so he must be rebuke. |

The passage you quote is talking about your likes dude. Read from verse 8 THEY SPEAK EVIL OF CHURCH LEADERS. Jude 1:8-12 8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. THEY SPEAK EVIL OF WHAT THEY KNOW NOT 10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. No doubt about that. The gospel is Good news because it frees us from bondage into the glorious liberty of the sons of GOD. when paul was persicuting the church he tought he was doing the right thing, he was zealous of it, he later agreed that he did it out of ignorance, and when he was saved he stoped all those things Paul started to preach the gospel after he was converted. NOW you have started to misquote scripture. No sinner or unconverted soul who has not the Spirit of GOD has the anointing to preach the GOSPEL. And when we hear babes in Christ or other crafty people introduce heresy into the pure, simple and clean gospel of Christ Jesus, we have to speak up or the sheep, God's precious flock will be destroyed. Philippians 1:15-18 "It's true that some are preaching out of jealousy and rivalry. But others preach about Christ with pure motives. They preach because they love me, for they know I have been appointed to defend the Good News. Those others do not have pure motives as they preach about Christ. They preach with selfish ambition, not sincerely, intending to make my chains more painful to me. BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER. whether their motives are false or genuine, the message about Christ is being preached either way, SO I REJOICE". They evidently were believers who were critical of Paul. Even so, the message about Christ was being preached. So Paul rejoiced. As for me, as long as you are for Christ --------------- Kudos. Your version of Christ may be different from mine, whatever. Utimately, it is God who will be the JUDGE of that. |

Joagbaje: frosbel: U see in another thread i joined in asking what is the GOSPEL. many atimes it stated that it is GOODNEWS. Good news about what, how, from what? what really makes it good news? Was the ten commandments good news too? and if it is why did God find fault with it? And if God found fault with it why is it still emphasised today? From titus, i see one thing there, NO MAN brings/instructs but there is something about GRACE which IT teaches US (CHRISTIANS) to deny ungodliness and worldly lust etc. Atimes in churches and on this thread, it seems we are upholding the result of gospel, and using the result as yardstick to judge when in fact it is to allow the gospel (it has a Life/Power of its own) flow from us as God works in Us that Life of the gospel. |
