Hi everyone, this is SiriusRhyme and here is a poem I wrote owing to what has been happening around us particularly in Nigeria.

From Inflation which has disrupt the wealth gap whereby we now have UltraRich--SuperRich--Rich--MiddleClass--Poor--SuperPoor--UltraPoor to Insecurity and various call for secession to rife in Moral decadence to Corruption which has become the new norm.

There is poverty in the land
So we struggle to get things right

There is enmity in the herd(Nigeria)
So they are planning to disunite

Morality turns a thing of the past
Decadence is now a scheme to survive

Corruption gives order with a bark
So Piousness tan(turn) its skin to hide.

Thanks for reading SiriusRhyme
while we freeze up your time.

Dear qtguru,

Hi, thanks a lot for keeping your diary active, it was such a relief for me when I finally got to the last thread and realised it is still active.

I actually stumbled on it by chance and I tell you I kind of find it interesting, even though I don't understand most of the coding you do write, being aware they exist and seeing you put them into action is magical; especially the way you write around them. You made programming a swiss cheese for tech lovers.

What really won my attention over completely and brought back nostalgic feeling was when I read you are actually learning LaTex, I studied Mathematics in School and used LaTex to write my project so it really struck a chord.

Also, I have a question which I can't quite wrap head over, is that Discrete Mathematics a pure Mathematics textbook or Computer Sciences(Programming) oriented Mathematics textbook. I will so much like to know if former, why you are studying a Mathematics textbook as a programmer, like I am a Mathematician and I can't remember the last time I pick up a textbook and if latter can you give some explanation on how the textbook is related to Mathematics.

Finally, I am happy you get to reconcile with your paternal family members, and I hope you can forgive make peace in your mind with your late Dad as well, you two sincerely have something in common; you do give out to people in need. It's important you do so, you carry his blood and DNA and it will help in extending your personal family tree to it root. You know a friend of mine who is Tiv by tribe, once told me about his family; his dad's name, grandfather name , great grandfather, great great grandfather name up to the seventh grandfather. Why am I telling you all this, don't you feel your children will be proud and happy to know such information about themselves as well.

I hope I didn't get you bored with my incoherent last paragraph, I just feel like I need to tell you. Looking forward to read your reply.

Good night.

Hi qtguru,

I get the picture now.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Hi qtguru, trust your day is going well.

I thought as much when I didn't get your response as regards the copy I wrote for Retani on Twitter, it's alright if you stay away, even better if you don't comment about the election at all. Politics has always been a dirty game; this is what the uninformed crew who only started supporting a particular candidate fail to understand. They want a complete overhaul of the Election Process and Politics as a whole which is close to impossible. Not in our Nigeria, there might be some changes but the effect will only go towards where those holding the Country to ransom wants it.

I have come to realise that Politicians with no exception are not worthy of emulation, and I bite my tongue for no one. So I only watch from afar and try as much as possible not to be influenced by them through Religion or Politics.

About your spouse to be, you have a lot of work to do, people are becoming more toxic nowadays and the resultant effect of their beliefs affect everyone. My advice are:

•If possible, relocate to another country, this will save the constant stress you might likely face.
• If you can't, try as much as possible to keep your family off of social media, I tell you that's the best. Here's a quick reason, a Black Man from Sudan got married to an Arab Girl; also from Sudan and they uploaded their pictures online. The comments received were so bitter and toxic it might influence one of the couples if care is not taken. One comment reads "... why do you marry your slave; referring to the guy as a slave to the Lady"

We are emotional creatures, so the best to do is stop something from happening than source from cure.

Finally about your friend, you need to get married first before you can understand Couples problem. I'm not blaming your reaction towards the Man as that's what every sane person would do, but experience they say is the best teacher.

While not supporting either of them, here is a scenario similar to theirs, a woman went to meet an Islamic scholar crying with a bleeding hand to report her husband maltreatment, on seeing this, the scholar was furious as to what might have made the husband commit such an act. Reality sets in when they arrived at the woman's home only to be told the husband she went to report is at hospital as a result of what the woman did to him. Apparently she injured her husband and then self inflicted herself to appear as the victim.

So couples matters are complicated, be thankful your friend was still calm enough to sit you down and explain himself, he might be lying but he still valued your friendship by narrating to you what transpired after you had given him a piece of what you were made of.

I wish you success in your Visa process and do take care of yourself.
