THEME: FOCUS ON THE ESSENCE NOT RHE PROCESS

THEME SCRIPTURE: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report (Hebrews 11:1).

I’ve often said that there’s no better definition of faith than what we have in Hebrews 11:1. It says faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of unseen realities. That means faith is the essence of hope. Therefore, in acting your faith, your focus shouldn’t be on the medium or process; what matters is the source. Faith is the essence, not the process.

The Bible says about Abraham: being not weak in faith, he considered not his body now dead, neither the deadness of Sarah’s womb, but he was strong in faith—in the essence. Hallelujah! Abraham’s focus wasn’t on how the baby Isaac would come, but on God from whom he’d come, for God had given him His Word of promise, and he counted God faithful to His Word. He saw the baby with the eyes of faith.

Today, what are you seeing? What has your faith pictured? What has your spirit taken a hold of? Hold on to the picture that you want, and refuse to worry about how it’ll navigate to you!

Don’t think, “Who does God have over there to make this or that happen for me; how am I going to get the money for this project;” no! Your part is to stay focused on Him; stay your heart and your mind on what you want. Your hope shouldn’t be on someone helping you with the money, but on God—your source.

Every so often, make bold faith proclamations and refuse contrary signs, feelings or fears, giving glory to God!” Remember; what you see is what you get. The Bible says Abraham staggered not at the promise of God, through unbelief, but he was strong in faith, giving glory to God. He held on to the picture, because when you look away, it dissipates. But when you look at it, you see it in action, and it manifests.

It makes no difference the kind of odds they say are against you. It doesn’t matter the troubles that you face; can you see the picture of your glorious life? Can you see the picture of the greater, successful, triumphant and excellent you? That’s what’s important. Hold on to it.

PRAYER
Dear Father, you’ve set eternity in my heart. I have an extraordinary capacity to contemplate, envision or see pictures of possibilities and the glorious life you’ve called me to live. I comprehend by the Spirit the immeasurable, unlimited and surpassing greatness of your power at work in me! My faith is alive, producing results always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

MONDAY 2ND JANUARY

THEME: JOY IN THE REALMS OF SALVATION

THEME SCRIPTURE: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).

In the realms of salvation is joy. That’s because all the blessings of God, all the blessings that exist in Christ, are in salvation. So, we’re full of joy all the time because we have all things. The Bible says, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (Romans 14:17). There’s no room for frustration in our lives. We don’t give vent to sadness, anger or bitterness. We give vent to the joy of the Lord—joy unspeakable and full of glory.

Consider what the Spirit says through Paul to the saints in Thessalonica: “And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost” (1 Thessalonians 1:6). Despite the affliction, they were full of joy. Isn’t that what James also said? James 1:2 NIV: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds.”

That’s how come Paul and Silas could be singing praises to God while in prison, with their hands and feet in stocks. They joyfully praised God, not so He would deliver them (even though He did), but because that’s the life of the new creation—it’s the extrusion and manifestation of true joy; it just flows.

If that hasn’t been your experience, it’s because you’re not acting on the Word. Being joyful is your life. The Bible says, “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation” (Isaiah 12:3). Without joy, you can’t experience the awesome blessings that God has delivered to you when you received salvation.

Joy is one of the intrinsic attributes of your recreated spirit; you only need to express and exude it always, irrespective and independent of circumstances. That’s where your strength lies—strength for an ever-victorious life: “…for the joy of the LORD is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10).

PRAYER
Righteous Father, I’ve put on the new man which, after you, is created in righteousness and true holiness. Therefore, I’m full of joy and strengthened by the Holy Spirit today. My life is the testimony of your grace and goodness, and I rejoice always with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Hallelujah!

TUESDAY 3RD JANUARY

THEME: FAITH- OUR LIFESTYLE IN THE KINGDOM

THEME SCRIPTURE: For therein is the righteousness of God from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).

In the Kingdom of God where we live, faith is our lifestyle. It isn’t something we try to acquire; it’s inherent in us. It came to us in the Gospel: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). Romans 12:3 says, “…God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”

Therefore, to live triumphantly in the Kingdom, you must put your faith to work. Failure to grow and exercise their faith is one of the reasons many Christians suffer fora long time. Rather than acting their faith, they’re more focused on their condition, complaining bitterly about what they’re going through.

That’s not the way to function in the Kingdom of God. What you must understand is that God has given you authority and power in the Holy Spirit to effect changes. It only takes you acting on the Word, and that’s what faith is. Through faith, we activate the blessings and provisions of Christ made available to us in the Gospel. It’s the reason Jesus taught the message of faith to the people in His day. But being born again, we’re creatures of faith. Faith is our lifestyle. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I have the mindset of possibilities and victories only. I apprehend and call real, things that the physical senses can’t perceive but are revealed in God’s Word. My God-given vision, idea, target or dream is possible because I live by faith in God’s Word. I’m living in the spiritual realities of our divine Kingdom, in absolute prosperity and unending success! Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY:
Luke 17:6 (KJV) – 6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Romans 10:17 (KJV) – 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

WEDNESDAY 4TH JANUARY

THEME: IT’S FROM YOUR HEART

THEME SCRIPTURE: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).

Anything you want or could ever want won’t come to you from heaven or from anywhere else but from your heart. Your heart is the origin of all things, including matter. That’s what we read in our opening verse above.

Remember, universal matter came from the heart of God; everything was inside Him before He spoke them into being. You’re made in the image and likeness of God; meaning that you look like Him and function like Him. Therefore, everything you’ll ever need in your life will come out of you—out of your heart.

That business you want to start, the new structure you want to set up, that new facility you need, including the capital; they’re all in your heart! Bring them forth from within you! The Bible says God has set, that means deposited, eternity in our hearts: “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart…” (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Your heart has the potential for infinite capabilities and possibilities. You can bring forth anything from within your spirit. Think about it: if your heart can contain God (for He lives in your heart; you’re the temple of the Holy Spirit), then it means heaven and earth, life, success, victory and joy—all the good things you could ever imagine or desire—are in your heart.

The reverse is also true for the one who isn’t born again: his heart is the habitation of evil, darkness, wickedness, failure and death. Recall the words of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 12:35: “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.”

Being born again, you’re the “good” man that Jesus talked about. You’re the one to produce whatever God wants in the earth: we permit and bring forth only the things that are consistent with His perfect will. Our hearts or spirits scrutinize everything and decide that only the will of the Lord will be done in our world and upon the earth (Romans 12:2). Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
From within, I bring forth success, victory, health, prosperity, joy and all the good things I desire. I walk in the glory of God today, and in the full blessings of the Gospel as I impact those in my world with the life and nature of Christ in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Matthew 12:34 (KJV) – 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Luke 6:45 (KJV) – 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Romans 12:2 (KJV) – 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

THURSDAY 5TH JANUARY

THEME: HIS FULLNESS IN US

THEME SCRIPTURE: For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell (Colossians 1:19).

Though Abraham, Isaac and Jacob knew God as El Shaddai, God introduced Himself to Moses as Jehovah (Exodus 6). On this was based the hope of the Old Testament, revealed in the name Emmanuel—“God, with us!” (Matthew 1:23).

But God wasn’t satisfied with “Emmanuel”; His plan was different as revealed to us in Colossians 1:26-27: “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints…which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Blessed be God!

God’s plan from the beginning wasn’t to be with us or amongst us but to be in us in His fullness. You may dance, scream and rejoice that God is with you; but until the reality and realization of His indwelling dawns on your spirit, your life will be empty. Your life of glory begins with the realization that Christ literally lives in you.

We see this in Paul’s beautiful prayer in Ephesians 3:14-19. It says, “…That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith…that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” That’s God’s plan right there: that you might be filled (replete) with all the fullness of God, as Jesus was filled with the fullness of God.

You have a role in this; otherwise, the Spirit’s prayer through Paul in Ephesians 3:14-18 wouldn’t have been necessary. That’s why He told you to be filled with the Spirit always, and Ephesians 5:18-20 shows you how: “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Christ in me is the hope of glory! I’m eternally grateful for the privilege to be filled with the Spirit always for an all-day, all-time life of victory and dominion through the Holy Ghost! I’m led by the Spirit; synchronized with Him to fulfil God’s plan and purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
John 1:16 (KJV) – 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

Ephesians 3:14-19 (KJV) – 14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Colossians 2:10 (KJV) – 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

FRIDAY 6TH JANUARY

THEME: SEE THE KINGDOM

THEME SCRIPTURE: For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Think about what we just read; an amazing reality! It makes no difference how much persecution and adversities you’re facing right now; they’re “light afflictions,” with fleeting lifespans. That’s not all: those “light afflictions” produce for you an eternal weight of glory. Blessed be God!

That crisis you thought came to crush you has a transient lifespan! If you would stay focused on the Word, there’s a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory that’s sure to result from the situation.

Then the Spirit tells us how this happens in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18. It says, “…for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Quit looking at the visible things in the natural world; remain focused, looking at the unseen. That’s because those unseen things are real.

The “things” your physical eyes or senses can relate with are not real; they’re temporary—here today, gone tomorrow. They’re subject to change! It’s like what we read about Elisha and his servant when they were surrounded by enemy chariots, horses and a great army. Terrified, Elisha’s servant cried out, “Master, we’re surrounded; what shall we do?”

Elisha replied, “Don’t be afraid; those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see” (2 Kings 6:17). The servant was looking at the wrong thing. The real armies and chariots were the unseen host of angels that surrounded Elisha, but the servant didn’t know it. So, in your life, see the unseen! Look and see spiritually. See the Kingdom way. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Lord, thank you for the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory that I experience as I walk in your Word. I rejoice always, knowing that you, O Lord, are the strength of my life by whom I triumph gloriously in every situation, reigning in righteousness, grace, wisdom, and in the knowledge of Christ. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
James 1:2-4 (TPT) – My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (AMPC) – Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after day. 17 For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], 18 Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.

SATURDAY 7TH JANUARY

THEME: FOUNDED ON THE ROCK

THEME SCRIPTURE: The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold (Psalm 18:2 NIV)

The Bible tells us about the spiritual rock that accompanied the children of Israel on their journey through the wilderness; that rock was Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4). He is the rock of our salvation. Anything that’s founded on Him is eternally fortified and unshakable.

It brings to mind the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:24-27. He said, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”

Notice the Lord didn’t say if you built your house on the rock, the winds would come and turn away, or that the floods would come and flow away. No! He said they’d beat upon the house. But because it’s on the rock, it’ll remain standing. That’s how your life is when you live in the Word of God. It doesn’t matter the fiery darts and tempest from Satan; you’re unflustered and unscathed.

Build your ministry on the Word. Build your life, your finances, your business, your relationships—all your endeavours—on the Word, and they’ll never crumble. Recall what the Bible says through the Prophet Isaiah, which parallels what we read from the Master in Matthew 7:24-27. He said, “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee” (Isaiah 43:2).

This is your heritage as one in Christ. You’re unconquerable. All things work together to produce blessings for you! You’re divinely protected because Christ is your rock and your fortress. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your Word, which is my sure and firm foundation. My life is built on Christ, the Rock on which I stand secured, strengthened, rooted and grounded, set for an upward course—the transcendent, victorious and prosperous life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Acts 20:32 – And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

1 Corinthians 3:10-11 – According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Matthew 7:24-27 NIV “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

THEME: NEVER GET FRANTIC

THEME SCRIPTURE: And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm (Mark 4:39).

The Scriptures show us how to respond when we’re confronted with challenges. Always, the Lord tells us not to fear. Never get frantic or flustered. We’recreatures of faith and not fear.

In Mark 4, Jesus was in the boat with His disciples and there was a tempest: “And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full” (Mark 4:37). Rattled by fear, the disciples cried out to the Master who was peacefully asleep at the rear of the boat. He wasn’t one to be flustered by circumstances.

When He woke up, He didn’t say, “This storm is quite tumultuous and a serious threat to our lives! I need to talk to the Father.” No! His amazing and inspiring response to the storm was, “Peace, be still!” Hallelujah! Some Christians find themselves in similar situations and respond in fear. They start speaking in tongues out of panic; no. Speak in tongues, but never out of fear.

Praying out of frenzy negates your faith; it’s ineffective. It’s not wrong to immediately start speaking in tongues when you’re in certain situations, but you must know why you’re speaking in tongues at such times. It should be to stir your spirit to pick the right words to deal with the situation.

While speaking with tongues, the Holy Spirit will also give you utterance in spiritual incantations which are coded words for the circumstances. Hallelujah! Refuse to fear, and remember who you are; then speak as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I live by faith in the Word of God, and I keep my mind steadfastly focused on Christ and the realities of the Kingdom of God! No matter what happens around me, I refuse to fear, because I’m born of God and I’ve overcome the world. Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:
Psalm 27:1-6 The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this [will] I [be] confident. 4 One [thing] have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. 5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

MONDAY 9TH JANUARY

THEME: AFFIRMING THE WORD IN FAITH

THEME SCRIPTURE: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised (Hebrews 10:23).

What we read in our opening scripture reminds us of what Abraham did: “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong
in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:20). How do you give glory to God? It’s through your affirmation of His Word; your affirmation of His greatness, power, majesty and love.

When we talk about affirming the Word of God, there’re those who wonder, “Must I say it?” Yes! It’s a principle of the Kingdom that works for salvation (Romans 10:9-10) and everything else. In Mark 11:23, the Lord Jesus said, “You shall have what you say.”

Understand this: You’re a spirit. You may pray and cry about a particular situation, but if you don’t declare what the Word says about that situation, nothing will change. Until you say what God has said concerning you, it’s not established in your life!
Hebrews 13:5-6 says, “…for he hath said…So that we may boldly say….”

You might have been praying, “Oh Lord, establish your Word in my life”; meanwhile, you’re the one to establish it. The Bible says, “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89). But you don’t live in heaven; you live on earth. You’re to establish His Word on earth. When God says it, you establish it by declaring the same thing.
You may be wallowing in debts and desperately hard up for money, but you should say, “All things are mine! I have all things that pertain to life and godliness! God is able to channel all the resources that I need to me and much more; and He has, because He’s my shepherd.” Hallelujah! Make such proclamations continually and your whole spirit, soul and body, including circumstances, will conform to your affirmations.

Refuse to fret. Keep affirming the Word. Your faith proclamations produce realities. Refuse to waiver, cower or stagger; be strong in faith, giving thanks to the Lord. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I’m a victor forever! My confessions of faith create realities. I know who I am—the seed of Abraham! The world belongs to me. I’m triumphant always, because I’m in Christ and He’s the glory of my life. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:
Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) – 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Joshua 1:8 (KJV) – 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Mark 11:23 (KJV) – 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Our theme verse is somewhat too big for some to grasp. They wonder, “How can we be like God?” Well, we didn’t know we were like Him until He told us. We read it: as He is, so are we in this world. We’re like Him because we’re born of Him; we were created in the image of Him that created us (Colossians 3:10). Blessed be God!

Being born again, we have the same life and nature as Jesus. It’s the reason we can think, talk, and live as He did, for we’re one with Him: “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

The Bible says He’s the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge: “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). The same is true of you because you’re complete in Him (Colossians 2:10). You’re the custodian of divine knowledge and wisdom, for John 1:16 says, “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.” Hallelujah!

You’re full of God as Jesus was full of God, because you have received of His fullness. That’s not all: You’re the effulgence of His glory just as He was and is the glory of the Father. If you’d live with this consciousness, it’ll transform your life. You’d walk in victory and dominion over circumstances, every day. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
As Jesus is the glory of the Father, so am I in this world. God reigns, establishes, and spreads His righteousness on earth today through me, as I rule and reign in the dominion of Christ. Blessed be God!

THEME: MANIFESTING FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

THEME SCRIPTURE: Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God (Philippians 1:11).

Jesus said, “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them” (Matthew 7:20). You can’t have fruits of something you’re not. An orange tree can only produce orange fruits. So, our theme verse is letting you know that if you’re righteous, you’ll have fruits of righteousness. In John 15:5, Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches….” And as common knowledge, the beauty of a tree is in its branches.

Being the “branch” of Jesus Christ means you carry the beauty of the Son of God. Hallelujah! You’re the fruit-bearing part of the vine, and you bear fruits of righteousness. That’s what your life is about: the manifestation of His righteousness.

You’ve been established as a tree of righteousness, to produce fruits and works of righteousness. Meaning that the things that come out of your life—your words and your actions—bring praise and glory to God. Isaiah 61:3 calls us trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord of hosts that He might be glorified. God’s glory and excellence are expressed through you.

The people of the world should see you and recognize the excellence and elegance of the Spirit. When Jesus restored sight to the blind, unstopped deaf ears, healed the crippled, raised the dead, fed the hungry, comforted the afflicted, and spoke divine words to encourage and bless people, He was manifesting fruits of righteousness. And as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Glory to His Name forever!

CONFESSION
I am the righteous; I flourish like the palm tree and grow like the cedar in Lebanon. I’m planted in the house of the Lord, and I flourish in the courts of our God. I produce fruits and works of righteousness; my life is the testimony of God’s glory and grace. His beauty is expressed through me; this is my heritage in Christ. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Philippians 1:9-11 NIV And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

Proverbs 11:30 ESV The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise.

THURSDAY 12TH JANUARY

THEME: HIS LOVE TOWARDS US

THEME SCRIPTURE: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Contrary to what many think, it doesn’t take much to be born again. All that’s required is to come into Christ. Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” That’s all the sinner needs to do.

Once the sinner comes into Christ, suddenly, old things are passed away. The Bible doesn’t say he or she should try to change the old things. God isn’t waiting for sinners to change their old ways before coming to Him. If they could do that themselves, they wouldn’t need Jesus.

Romans 5:10 says, “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” How gracious the Lord is! We were reconciled to Him at a time we didn’t even know Him—while we were still enemies. Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).”

He loved us even when we were dead in sin: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:cool. Romans 4:4-5 shows us how this happened. It says, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

Our God justifies the ungodly. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” This is the Gospel: it’s about Christ Jesus and His great love for all humanity! It’s about the eternal life and righteousness that He’s freely made available to all, which becomes a vital reality in the life of the one who accepts this truth by confessing the lordship of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I pray for the unsaved around the world, declaring open channels for the Gospel to reach and impact them today. Every resistance is broken and they receive the truth with understanding, and embrace your Word for their salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
2 Corinthians 5:19-20 (KJV) – 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Colossians 1:21-22 (KJV) – 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

FRIDAY 13TH JANUARY

THEME: CHRIST OUR LIFE

THEME SCRIPTURE: When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory (Colossians 3:4).

Christ is our life! Blessed be God! Just the thought causes the power of God to course through my being. We’re not ordinary. When you received Christ, something actually transpired: the life and nature of God was imparted to your spirit. You no longer have the human life; you have the Christ-life, the divine life.

This was the Apostle Paul’s summation when he declared, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh (in this body) I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). What an overwhelmingly deep- seated conviction!

Paul referenced the same thought in Colossians 3:10 when he said that as new creations, we’ve put on the new man who’s been renewed in knowledge after the image of Christ. In other words, the more you learn about Him and experience Him in knowledge, the more He’s expressed in and through you. That’s Christian growth.

When the knowledge of the divine life in you sinks into your spirit through meditation, it becomes your constant consciousness. It becomes your practice, experience and way of life. How could anything go wrong with your liver, heart, or kidney when Christ is your life?

The Bible says if Christ is in you, even if your body were dead or ravaged by sickness or disease because of sin, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness— the life and nature of God in you (Romans 8:10). The depraved, defeated, destroyed and broken human life has been supplanted by the Christ-life—the divine life of righteousness, honour, peace and glory. Glory to God!

CONFESSION
Christ is my life! Christ is my righteousness. Christ is my wisdom. Christ is my all! Christ in me is the hope of glory! Today, I fully express the essence of my divine nature, impacting my world with the righteousness, honour, peace and dominion of Christ. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:
Colossians 1:26-27 (KJV) – 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Colossians 3:3-4 (KJV) – 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Romans 8:10-11 (ESV) – 10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus[a] from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

SATURDAY 14TH JANUARY

THEME: PRAYING FOR LEADERS

THEME SCRIPTURE: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority… (1 Timothy 2:1-2).

In Acts 13:6-12, we find a very interesting story about the missionary work of Barnabas and Paul in Paphos—a city known for a combination of immorality and darkness. In the course of their evangelical work in the city, the deputy, Sergius Paulus, wanted to hear God’s Word and sent for Barnabas and Paul.

But one of his very influential officials—a noted false prophet and sorcerer—attempted to frustrate their missionary efforts. He didn’t want his boss to hear the Gospel. But Paul, having observed Elymas’ deceptive and malicious tendencies, firmly expostulated with him and said, “And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season…” (Acts 13:11). Suddenly, the man went blind and got out of their way. Hallelujah!

Sergius Paulus was a prudent man; he wasn’t a corrupt official, but he was unaware of the kind of influence that Elymas would have on him, having been planted by Satan. These are often part of Satan’s ways of getting across to government and political leaders, to influence them and get them to do the wrong things.

Therefore, in praying for the leaders of your city, state or country, remember that there’re times Satan plants his own people among them, to distract them from hearing the Word and from getting to know God. Therefore, using the Name of Jesus, break the power of Satan over those who work with leaders and seek to influence or counsel them to go against the will and purposes of God.

Furthermore, command the devil to loose his grip over their minds so the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ would shine unto them. Affirm that their hearts are open to receive the Gospel willingly and as a result, righteousness springs up in their hearts and the wisdom of God guides their thoughts. Pray for leaders and all men this way as admonished in 1 Timothy 2:1-2.

PRAYER
Lord, your desire is for the leaders and peoples of the nations to be saved and for your righteousness to rule their hearts and guide their thinking. Therefore, I pray for leaders of nations, that their hearts be opened and receptive to the Gospel. I pray that your Word will have free course and be glorified and have prevailing power in their lives, effectively cutting off every negative influence from among them, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
1 Timothy 2:1-4 (KJV) – 1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Jeremiah 29:7 (KJV) – 7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

SUNDAY 15TH JANUARY

THEME: HIS GOODNESS IN THE EARTH

THEME SCRIPTURE: He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD (Psalm 33:5).

Some don’t believe that the earth is truly full of the goodness of God. But that’s exactly what the verse above unequivocally declares. All that some have experienced in their lives is bitterness and pain. Part of the reason for this is the works of wicked and evil men and women. These evil manipulators destroy the economies of nations for their selfish gain.

Nevertheless, there’s more than enough food and good things for every human being on the face of the earth. There’s more than enough wealth in this world. There’s more than enough grace in this world. There’s more than enough power and ability in this world. It’s one of the reasons God wants us to intercede for all men so they can enjoy all that He’s blessed them with in the earth.

We read it: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord (Psalm 33:5). Therefore, affirm that the lines are fallen unto you in pleasant places; you have a goodly heritage (Psalm
16:6). Believe it and act accordingly. God said, “My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6). But knowledge has come to you today: all the blessings of God upon the earth are yours to enjoy.

Don’t settle for less. He said in Psalm 50:10-11, “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.” Then in Psalm 24:1, David said, “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” No wonder Paul said, “…All things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21); because you’re an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Gracious Father, the whole earth is filled with your glory and goodness, but many are in bitterness and pain. Therefore, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, I come against the works of ungodly men who have filled the earth with violence, poverty and deaths, keeping men from experiencing your goodness in the earth. Their works are frustrated, and God’s people experience your blessings, health, prosperity and power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

THEME: COURAGEOUSLY DECLARE HIS WORD

THEME SCRIPTURE:…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may BOLDLY SAY, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6).

Our underlined portion above—“boldly say”—is “tharrheō legō” (Greek) and it means to courageously declare. “Legō” means to say or speak; but it also means to boast. God said something, so that we could courageously declare or boastfully affirm the same thing. This is amazing!

That was exactly what Jesus did when He encountered Satan in Matthew 4. He said, “...It is written...” (Matthew 4:7). It shows us that the way to respond to life’s circumstances is with the Scriptures. For example, when you say, “Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world,” you’re responding with the Word; you’re courageously affirming the Word.

That verse doesn’t exactly say, “Greater is He that is in me”; rather, it says, “Greater is he that is in you….” But in response, you personalize it; that’s when it becomes “Rhema.” Glory to God! God gave us the Scriptures so we could speak them forth. The Word of God created all things; therefore, everything in life responds to the spoken Word from your lips. The principle is: the Word in your heart and in your mouth; you release the power of God into action in your behalf through speaking. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I'm a winner all the time; I live over and above all limitations and circumstances. There’s no situation I can’t change, because my tongue is a tree of life with which I guarantee my health, success, safety, wellness and wholeness! Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:

TUESDAY 17TH JANUARY

THEME: THE EFFECT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

THEME SCRIPTURE: And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever (Isaiah 32:17).

Our opening verse lists quietness and assurance as the effect of righteousness; that’s faith! Faith is the quiet or confident assurance that things favourably expected shall come to pass: “Faith is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen…”(Hebrews 11:1 TLB). This perfectly describes the effect of righteousness we read about in our opening verse. It could have simply read, “And the effect of righteousness shall be faith.”

In all of the Old Testament, the word “faith” appears only twice and it wasn’t in connection with peopledemonstrating faith toward God. The first time it was used in the Old Testament was in Deuteronomy 32:20. The next time was Habakkuk 2:4: “…but the just shall live by his faith”; a prophetic reference to the new creation. But now, faith has come! It’s our lifestyle. Being born again, we were born righteous and the effect of righteousness is mountain-moving faith. Hallelujah!

Because of righteousness, you have power over every crisis; you rule over the elements and corrupting influences of this world. You can live without fear, worries, conflicts and agitations. Isaiah 54:14 says, “In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.” Hallelujah!

No more fear or oppression in your life because you’re established in Christ’s righteousness. You’re no longer in the jurisdiction of darkness; of those who are oppressed by circumstances, situations, demon spirits, etc. You’ve been translated into the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son; the realm of blessings, dominion and glory. Praise God!

CONFESSION:
I walk in the consciousness of God’s righteousness, securely established in Christ! I live above the elements and corrupting influences of this world. I live without worries, conflicts and agitations. I walk in glory, dominion and the strength of God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

WEDNESDAY 18TH JANUARY

THEME: WE’RE IN CHARGE

THEME SCRIPTURE: For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way (2 Thessalonians 2:7).

All the evil and atrocious plans and agendas of Satan for the nations of the world can’t succeed because of our stand against him. After the Rapture, Satan will have his way according to the Scriptures, but until then, we—the Church of Jesus Christ—are in charge and in control. We determine the destiny of the nations. Hallelujah!

Some people believe we don’t stand a chance because they’re not a part of what we’re doing. They’re like the men of Succoth that the Bible talks about in Judges 8:5 who, instead of supporting Gideon, mocked him (Judges 8:6). They ridiculed Gideon because they didn’t believe he and his small number of weary troops were capable of defeating the Midianite warriors. But Gideon succeeded without their support.

As long as we’re not all quiet and ignorant about Satan’s agenda for the world, he can’t lord it over the nations. NEVER! In Ezekiel 22:30, God said, “I sought for a man to stand in the gap and I found none.” He didn’t say, “I sought for many people.” Therefore, as long as some of us stand our ground on the Word against the devil and his cohorts, their works will be thwarted.

Isaiah 44:25 MSG aptly summarizes their end! It says God “…makes the magicians look ridiculous and turns fortunetellers into jokes. He makes the experts look trivial and their latest knowledge look silly.” This is what’s happening around the world because of our prayers. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
The Lord is in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments; no name and no power exempt from His rule, and not just for the time being, but forever! I come against the structures, systems and schemes employed by Satan to propagate his deception and fear across the nations. Those structures are overthrown, and every evil work is exposed, judged and sentenced, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Psalm 149:5-9 (KJV) – 5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. 6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

1 Samuel 14:6 (KJV) – 6 And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the Lord will work for us: for there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few.

THURSDAY 19TH JANUARY

THEME: BE VIGILANT

THEME SCRIPTURE: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

In John 5:43, Jesus said, “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” Our underlined portion sounds like a supposition but it’s not. It’s actually in the affirmative when you study the Greek rendering.

The word “another” in that verse doesn’t come from “heteros” (Greek), but from “allos” (Greek). This clearly means that Jesus was prophesying about the “pseudochristos”—a false Christ; one who falsely lays claim to the name and office of the Messiah. Jesus did teach that there’d be false Christs and false prophets.

When you read in the epistles (such as 1 John 2:18), the term used is “antichrist” which is “antichristos” in Greek, meaning instead of Christ, against Christ, one who puts himself in the place of Christ or opposes Christ. This lines up with the “pseudochristos.” So, when Jesus said, “… if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive,” He knew what He was talking about. Sadly, some today are willing to demonstrate magnanimity and incredulity towards fake news and wrong doctrines, while unwilling to accept real truth.

The Bible tells us the antichrist will be a deceiver and a liar, and that major religious leaders will endorse him. But that’s no surprise. There were people like that in Bible days who endorsed the false prophets and killed God’s prophets (Matthew 23:31). It’s the same in the world today; many have chosen to be deceived.

Satan’s modus operandi is based on deception with misrepresentations. Therefore, remain vigilant. The Bible says, “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 5:6). We’re in the closing period of this present age; the Lord is coming soon. Be alert and ready.

PRAYER
Gracious Lord, thank you for the illumination that I’ve received from your Word, exposing the cunning devices of Satan and his cohorts in these last days. The eyes of my understanding are flooded with light; I’m alert and sensitive, ready for the coming of the Lord. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
1 John 4:1-3 (KJV) – 4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

1 John 2:18 (KJV) – 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

2 John 1:7 (KJV) – 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

THEME: FAITH THAT CONQUERS THE WORLD

THEME SCRIPTURE: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).

The verse above in the Amplified Classic says, “For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.” It’s talking about faith from God, from His eternal Word to our spirit! That’s the faith that conquers the world!

Romans 12:3 says, “…God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Hallelujah! Then in Romans 10:17, it says, “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” This is why it’s important that you expose your spirit to the Word.

The more you hear or study the Word, the more faith comes to you; faith to rule your world. With that faith, you have dominion over circumstances and victory over the world and its systems. However, faith not expressed won’t prevail. You express your faith in words and actions, for the Bible says faith speaks!

Rule your world with your faith-filled words. Your words have force; they have energy. If someone says to you, “But you’ve been speaking the Word for some time now, and nothing is changing.” Remind them of what the Bible says: “If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth…” (Ecclesiastes 11:3).

Keep speaking the Word in faith and watering your clouds with prayers. As you do, the spiritual cloud becomes thick with spiritual water, and nothing can stop the downpour! Blessed be God!

CONFESSION
The Lord is strong and mighty, and He’s with me and in me! I put my trust in Him alone, and rest my faith on His Word. Irrespective of the challenges in the world today, my faith is the victory that conquers the world! All things are possible to him that believes and I believe; therefore, all things are possible to me. Glory to God!

THEME: SPEAKING RIGHTEOUSNESS

THEME SCRIPTURE: For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe (Hebrews 5:13).

The phrase, “of righteousness” in our opening verse is “dikaiosunē” (Greek); it means the word or “logos” (Greek) of righteousness. Some translations use “doctrine” and others use “teaching” instead of “word.” But the spiritual communication that’s embedded in that verse is much higher; it refers to speaking righteousness or a communication of righteousness.

To further understand this, let’s examine Jesus’ response when He was tempted by Satan in Matthew 4: He quoted Scriptures each time, but not as one who was responding from the standpoint of the Law. For example, when the Bible says, “Thou shalt not steal” (Exodus 20:15), it was written to Israel as one of the commandments.

But when you become a Christian, “Thou shalt not steal” isn’t applicable to you! It doesn’t apply to your spirit. Does that mean you can steal? Of course not! In Christianity, you have a nature that doesn’t steal. You’re of the higher class. You don’t live by the Law or commandments, for the Bible says, “…the law is not made for a righteous man…” (1 Timothy 1:9).

So, when Jesus said to Satan, “…It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone…” (Matthew 4:4), He was describing His life; it was a description of His righteousness. Hallelujah! Always, God expects you to respond with the Word as Jesus did. It’s not about memorizing the Scriptures so you could quote them; it’s about speaking righteousness, communicating in line with your nature in Christ—who you are in Him.

Sometimes, in responding with the Word, the scripture you’re quoting might not be verbatim, but you’re aware that what you’re saying is consistent with God’s Word; the message goes to your spirit in the language of the Spirit. When you respond to Satan and life’s challenges like that, you’ll always be victorious! Praise God!

CONFESSION:
My life is the expression of the glory and dominion of Christ. I live the higher life. I’m an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ; the whole world is mine! The divine life is at work in me, and that life of God is activated in every fibre of my being. Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY:
1 Corinthians 2:12-13
12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.

Colossians 3:16
16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

Romans 10:6-8
6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:

THEME: AGONIZING FOR SOULS IN PRAYER

THEME SCRIPTURE: Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God (Colossians 4:12).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today MESSAGE:
The Apostle Paul knew how to agonize in prayer for the souls of men. He understood the principles of prevailing prayer—soul travail. For example, in 1 Corinthians 15:32, he said, “…I have fought with beasts at Ephesus….” There, he was talking about something that happened in the spirit. It was a spiritual warfare.

In Revelation 19:11, the Apostle John tells us, “…in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” We judge and make war in righteousness. The phrase “make war” is the Greek, “polemeō” and it means to be (engaged) in warfare, to battle or fight. Instead of “war,” it’s also sometimes translated “battle.”

“War” is also translated from “stratomai,” which has to do with war as in soldiers in a warfare. But then there’s “Agonisomai” (Greek); another word for war which is more about contending for something (Colossians 1:29; 4:12). This time, it’s more passionate and intense, and it doesn’t necessarily use arms.

That’s where the English word “agonize” is derived. That’s what we’re expected to do in praying for lost souls— we “agonize,” because we have an adversary that’s warring
against us. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

The word “wrestle” is the generic term for war, battle, fight, or struggle; letting us know that all of these have to do with our adversary. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 tells us about this adversary and the extent of his wickedness. It says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

This is why you must pray intensely for sinners to be delivered from the power of Satan into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Agonize for them in prayer. This is a priority in warring a good warfare (1 Timothy 2:1-2).

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for pouring out your Spirit upon all humanity, making it possible for all men to receive the glorious Gospel of Christ. I break the power of the devil over people’s minds whom you’ve destined for salvation today; they’re delivered from darkness to light and into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Ephesians 6:12-13 (KJV) – 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

THEME: SANCTIFIED PRAISE

THEME SCRIPTURE: And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever (2 Chronicles 20:21).

1Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” That’s our calling right there: it’s to a life of praise. We’re sanctified to praise the Lord.

In the Bible, David, being a prophet of God was inspired of the Lord to organize the Levites into choirs. That’s because He had the revelation of true worship. David was a musician, an instrumentalist and a songwriter. He was a singer and he also made instruments. In the palace of Saul, King of Israel, he often played the flute (1 Samuel 16:14-23).

The Bible tells us they did make music in Kings’ houses; music wasn’t something new to the world. But music for God was different. If music was going to be offered in sacrifice to God, it could only be done by the Levites inside the temple (1 Chronicles 16:4).

Furthermore, our praise is a weapon against the adversary. Recall what happened with Jehoshaphat: three enemy nations allied against Judah. But Jehoshaphat organized with the people and put the singers in front of the army. The Bible says, “And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir…” (2 Chronicles 20:22). That’s the power of sanctified praise.

There’re battles you win with praise. Read Acts 16:25-26 and see how Paul and Silas were supernaturally delivered from their captors as they praised the Lord. In the New Testament, we’re the circumcision that worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh (Philippians 3:3). We are the ones He’s sanctified to offer Him true worship. It’s the reason we can worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

We often have our Praise Night Services, where as a global audience, we pour out our hearts in worship and praise to the Lord for His love, goodness, grace and wondrous works. Be sure to be a part of these live services and relive the moments during the rebroadcast on our Loveworld Networks.

PRAYER
Precious Lord Jesus, I worship you; you’re the King eternal, immortal, with all power, glory and majesty. You’re the Monarch of the universe, and you alone have all authority in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth. You’re the Most High God, worthy of all praise, honour and adoration. You’re King of the ages. I worship you today and forever. Amen.

Acts 16:25-26 (KJV) – 25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

THEME: INTERCEDING FOR ALL MEN

THEME SCRIPTURE: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (1 Timothy 2:1-2).

The scripture above outlines the kinds of prayers that we should pray for all men: “supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks.” We must pray like this, and oftentimes, with fasting, so that God’s purpose to have the mass of humanity come to Christ will be actualized. The Bible says He wants all men saved, including leaders of nations.

This is the day of His grace and of His salvation. Therefore, in prayer, present that argument; the Bible says the grace of God that brings salvation has been made available to all men (Titus 2:11). In Christ, salvation has already been wrought for every man. But we know what keeps people in darkness. The Bible says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).

Satan is the one who has blinded the minds of men so they wouldn’t believe the Gospel; he’s the reason some will do anything to resist the message of the Gospel. But in prayer, you break his hold and influence over men’s lives.

Always take out time to intercede passionately for those in your world who haven’t yet known the Lord. Pray that every resistance is removed for them to receive the truth with understanding and embrace the Word of God for their salvation.

Also, pray for leaders, that they’ll have the will, desire, and boldness to do what is right and refuse to yield to corruption and negative influences. Prophesy often that peace prevails in the cities, towns and nations of the world, and the Gospel has free course where you live and work.

PRAYER
This is the day of salvation and grace, for the grace of God that brings salvation has been made available to all men. Therefore, I pray for massive numbers of men and women around the world to receive this precious message of salvation. I pray that the veils be taken off their eyes, and their hearts and minds be opened to the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

1 Timothy 2:1-4 (AMPC) – 1 First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, 2 For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way. 3 For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior, 4 Who wishes all men to be saved and [increa

THEME: PRODUCTS OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

THEME SCRIPTURE: And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24).

2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Being born again, we’re the exact manifestation of the righteousness of God. A dog gives birth to a dog. Likewise, when God in His infinite righteousness gave birth to us, we became the righteousness of God.

We’re the product of His righteousness; we’re His righteousness manifested! Declare this about yourself every so often. When you say it, it’s not a boast; you’re simply affirming truth—you’re declaring who you are in Christ!

This is different from the gift of righteousness by which you stand in the presence of God to receive eternal life. When you were born again, you were recreated in righteousness. The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

This new creature, as read in our opening verse, was created in righteousness and true holiness. The Amplified Classic calls it “true righteousness” (Ephesians 4:24). Hallelujah! In other words, no more shadow or figure of righteousness. You’re God-like in true righteousness and holiness. What a blessing! Live with this consciousness and walk in glory and dominion over circumstances, every day.

CONFESSION:
I’ve received true righteousness; I’m now God-like in true righteousness and holiness, superior to Satan, his demons and circumstances! And by the power of Jesus Christ, the whole world is subdued before me in absolute dominion. Hallelujah!

THURSDAY 26TH JANUARY

THEME: SAVED BY HIS RESURRECTION

THEME SCRIPTURE: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8 )

In Romans 10:9, the Bible says, “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” It lets us know that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is where Christianity came from.

To be a Christian, you’ve got to believe in the resurrection. If you don’t believe in the resurrection, you can’t believe in the death, because the death had to occur before the resurrection. Actually, the best rendering of Romans 10:9 is, “If you’ll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you’ll be saved.”

You may say, “Pastor Chris, but it says you confess first and then you believe next.” No; you believe first before you confess. That’s the principle. The next verse explicitly clarifies it: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10). Hallelujah!

When you believe with your heart, you’re made right with God. We believed in Jesus Christ and we were given right standing, and with the confession of His lordship, we were catapulted into salvation. That’s the simple principle.

2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” It shows that you believe, and then you speak. Every man, woman, boy and girl ever born, and that’ll ever be born into this world has already been legally “saved” by Jesus Christ. When He died, He died to save all humanity. But that salvation becomes a vital experience—active—in the life of the one who believes, not only that Jesus died, but that He was raised from the dead for our justification. Praise God!

PRAYER
As we await the soon return of the Lord, may the clouds pour down righteousness continually; may the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, and righteousness sprout with it, according to the Word of the Lord, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Isaiah 45:8 NASB “Drip down, heavens, from above, And let the clouds pour down righteousness; Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, And righteousness sprout with it. I, the Lord, have created it.

THEME: ENERGIZED PRAYER

THEME SCRIPTURE: So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed (Acts 19:20).

If you desire certain changes in your life, your city, state or nation, you can make it happen through effectual prayers—praying with passion. Paul knew how to pray effectively; that was what changed Ephesus and other places where he ministered.

Paul was in Ephesus for two years and three months, and during that period, he shook up the whole place. The Bible says, “And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds” (Acts 19:18). In other words, they gave up idolatry and their heathen practices and openly confessed the lordship of Jesus.

The 19th verse says those who had been into magic and cults were converted to Christ. How was Paul able to achieve this? He gave us an idea when he said in 1 Corinthians 15:32,
If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me….”

When you study the context, you don't find where he personally encountered beasts or was physically attacked by wild beasts. Evidently, Paul was speaking spiritually. He was referring to something that happened in the spirit. Recall what we read in our theme verse: So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.”

The Gospel prevailed in Ephesus because Paul understood how to pray with passion, how to prevail in the spirit through prayer. The Bible says, ..The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). The phrase “effectual fervent” is “energeō” (Greek), and it means “energized.” In other words, the “energized” prayer of a righteous man avails much. Hallelujah!

To drive this point home, James gives us the example of Elijah’s prayer and says, Elijah “prayed earnestly” (James 5:17). The phrase “prayed earnestly” literally means that Elijah “prayed with prayer,” giving it a Hebraistic form of emphasis. He was talking about the intensity of Elijah’s prayer. He prayed energized prayer.

There’re many things happening in our world today that should move us to pray intensely as Elijah did. It’s your responsibility as a child of God to put a halt to evil works masterminded by Satan in your world and the regions beyond.

PRAYER
Dear Lord, thank you for the privilege and blessing of prayer. Now I pray for the unhindered spread of the Gospel, that your Word may have free course and be glorified. I pray against fear, violence, wickedness and all forms of injustice; I declare peace, progress, stability and prosperity, for the furtherance of your Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
James 5:16‭-‬18 AMPC
Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. 17 Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months. 18 And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].

THEME: THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE DIVINE ESSENCE

THEME SCRIPTURE: That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination] (2 Timothy 1:6 AMPC).

Think about this: The same Spirit by which Jesus cast out devils, healed the sick, raised the dead and did all the amazing miracles that He did, lives in you today. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God; He’s the divine essence. He’s exactly like Jesus. He doesn’t receive power from God; He’s the POWER of God! He’s the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father.

The Holy Spirit isn’t less than the Father, nor is He less than Jesus. The Bible says it was Him that raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 8:11). This Holy Spirit has also vitalized your hitherto death-prone body. Your body is now His temple (1 Corinthians 6:19). Hallelujah! What does this mean for you?

It means if ever your body is afflicted, if any wound or anomaly surfaces in your body, it’ll be taken care of by the Holy Spirit. He perambulates in you to ensure nothing goes wrong in or with your physical body. This is the reality! So, every so often, activate His power in you by speaking in tongues and affirming His Word.

You don’t have to attend “revival” meetings to activate the power of the Spirit. Just start declaring His Word concerning your life, and before long, His divine power will course through your being. Blessed be God!

CONFESSION
Everything in my body is touched by the power of the Holy Spirit. There’s life in me. There’s no situation I can’t change, for the inherent power to do exceeding abundantly above all that I could ask, think or imagine is within me. I’m infused with divine strength, and the glory of God is revealed through me. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

1 Timothy 4:14 AMPC: Do not neglect the gift which is in you, [that special inward endowment] which was directly imparted to you [by the Holy Spirit] by prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands upon you [at your ordination].

Romans 8:10-11 ESV But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

THEME: BE CONSISTENT IN YOUR CONFESSION

THEME SCRIPTURE: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised) (Hebrews 10:23).

Everything Jesus did—all the miracles He performed—He did with words. Even when He multiplied the five loaves of bread and two fish, it was with words! The Bible says He blessed it (Matthew 14:19) by giving thanks; He activated the power with words.

Words are “things”; they possess creative energy. When you talk, energy is released to cause what you’ve said to materialize, positive or negative. The Bible says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue...” (Proverbs 18:21). Don't confuse your spirit by saying one thing and obscuring it with another.

James 3:11 says sweet and bitter water don’t emanate from the same fountain. Be consistent in your confessions—in your declaration of God’s truths. Truth is consistent. Don't change your confession on the basis of transient situations or circumstances. Irrespective of how you feel, what you see or hear; hold fast to what you’ve believed and received.

Hold fast to your confession of God’s Word. Don’t give Satan a chance. It makes no difference the contrary evidences and adversities he may stir against you; you say, “I’m a victor in Christ Jesus! Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world.” Once you’ve said that, no matter what happens thereafter, refuse to waver. Your faith will prevail.

That’s how you deal with circumstances and situations in life: you stagger not at the promise of God through unbelief. Rather, you’re strong in faith, giving glory to the Lord (Romans 4:20). Keep the word of faith in your mouth always and you’ll forever be victorious: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23).

CONFESSION
I refuse to allow circumstances dictate the outcome of my life. I don’t stagger at the Word of God through unbelief; I’m ever strong in faith, giving glory to God! No sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my body because I’m joined to the Lord and I’m one spirit with Him. Divine life and unfailing health and strength are at work in every fibre of my being, in every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body. Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY:
Hebrews 13:5‭-‬6 AMPC* Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.

THEME: YOUR EXALTED PLACE IN HIM

THEME SCRIPTURE: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13).

Oftentimes, some Christians describe their encounters with demons and how they’re often oppressed by the powers of darkness. To such folks, the question that often comes to my mind is, “Who is Jesus? Didn’t He give us power over devils?”

The Bible says we’ve been delivered—transferred and translated—from the jurisdiction of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son. That’s your current place of domicile. You’re far above principalities and powers; vitally and effectively superior to Satan and the demons of hell!

Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Until and unless this becomes your present-hour consciousness, perception and outlook on life, you’ll live a life that’s far lower than your calling in Christ.

Here’s something I did many years ago that I recommend you do for yourself: get your notepad or diary and write as a title, “Why I have power over devils.” Then, get into the Bible and write out every scripture you can find about Jesus, who He is, and who you are in Him! You’d be amazed and inspired by what you’d discover about Jesus Christ, the power He’s given you, and your exalted place in Him. You’re in Him; inseparably one with Him. As He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17).

How is He? He is the effulgence of the Father’s glory. He is glory personified. Who is He? He’s Himself, God! Where is He? He’s at the place of highest honour and supreme authority in the heavenly realm: “…exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming” (Ephesians 1:21 TPT). The most enthralling part of it all is that you’re in Him, gloriously enthroned with Him and exalted, far above every ruler, authority, government and realm of power in existence. Blessed be God!

PRAYER
I live in the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son; that’s the realm into which I was born; a realm of glory, beyond time and space; the realm of the miraculous. I refuse to condescend to the earthly level of life or reasoning. I rule over demons and circumstances, dominating this physical world with the principles of our heavenly Kingdom. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:
Colossians 1:12-13 (KJV) – 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Ephesians 1:21-23 (TPT) – And now he is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming! And he alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christ and has given him the highest rank above all others. And now we, his church, are his body on the earth and that which fills him who is being filled by it!

Ephesians 2:6 (KJV) – 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

TUESDAY 31ST JANUARY

THEME: A LIFE OF GLORY AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

THEME SCRIPTURE: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light(1Peter 2:9)

When we say Christianity is a call to a life of glory, righteousness, greatness, honour and peace, it’s a present-hour reality. It’s a literal truth, not a promise we’re looking forward to enjoying when we get to heaven. We have the Christ-life in us NOW! We have His righteousness and His glory. The Bible says, “…As he is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). Colossians 3:3-4 tells us something super-sublime; it says, “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then will ye also appear with him in glory.”

Christ is your life. There was an exchange; a supplanting of your natural human life by His divine life. The Lord Jesus took your depraved, defeated, destroyed and broken human life away from you. He took the life of sin and shame away from you, and in its place, He gave you a life of glory and righteousness. Think about it: if Christ is your life, then everything about your life should be absolutely divine.

How then could you be said to have an incurable ailment? Satan has tried to deceive many to believe nothing has changed in their lives even though they’re now born again. The darkness, misery, infirmities and pains that were associated with your old human life have all passed away. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” You’re now in a new environment—the environment of His glory and righteousness.

That’s why your life is full of glory and you produce fruits and works of righteousness. Have and walk in this consciousness. Be full of faith and confidence, knowing that your life is the expression and manifestation of these truths. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I’m full of faith and confidence, knowing that my life is the expression and manifestation of the glory and righteousness of Christ. I have the life of Christ at work in my spirit, soul and body. Glory to God!

WEDNESDAY 01 FEBRUARY

THEME: A DIVINE REALITY

THEME SCRIPTURE: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

Throughout this month, take some time every day, or at least for the next two weeks, and meditate on the verse of scripture above. Lie on your bed and repeat them out loud again and again. Walk around thinking and muttering, “Christ is in me.” I did this many years ago and it sure transformed my life. I needed to capture the essence and reality of that verse. I wanted it to soak into my spirit, and it did!

“Christ in you” isn’t a religious talk; it’s a divine reality. Sadly, the power of that reality isn’t yet as effectual in the lives of some as it should be. That’s the reason for their whining and grumbling; the lack, headaches and fevers they complain of! It’s the reason some have wounds, sicknesses and diseases that are said to be incurable.

How could you be sick, if indeed, Christ indwells your physical body? Remember Aeneas; though a Christian, had been paralysed and bedridden for eight years. Then came Peter to his house. All that Peter said was, “Aeneas, Christ makes you well: get up!” Immediately, the man was healed.

Peter understood the reality, the power and the essence of Christ living in a man. What did Paul say in Romans 8:10? He said, “And if Christ is in you, although the body may be dead because of sin, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness.”

Before Christ came into you, your body was death-doomed or death-prone. You were susceptible to the curse of sin and were therefore subject to Satan, condemnation, sickness, disease, poverty and death. But then the Bible says, “…if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (Romans 8:11). This has already happened. The Spirit lives in you now and has given life—vitalized your mortal or hitherto death-doomed body.

Your life, now that you’re born again, is death-proof. You have to insist on that, otherwise, you’ll be buffeted by the elements of life. But when you consciously meditate on Christ and His life in you, He’ll manifest Himself in your physical body and dispel everything that’s not of God. Christ in you is the greatest blessing of all!

Confession
Dear Father, thank you for the Christ-consciousness that inspires an extraordinary boldness in my life and causes me to live every day, exuding joy indescribable and full of glory. I’ve been granted the grace and ability in Christ to reign and rule over all circumstances! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Christ in me is my assurance of divine health, prosperity, success, victory, and dominion. Blessed be God!

FURTHER STUDY
Isaiah 60:1-2 (KJV) – 1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

2 Corinthians 3:9-10 (KJV) – 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

2 Corinthians 3:11 (KJV) – 11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

2 Peter 1:17 (KJV) – 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
