Its unlimited bro. Unlimitedly unlimited.
The 1tb mark is for residential service users and it begins in April and its for USA and Canada. Doesn't affect Europe, Asia or Africa.
Also, the 1tb is only Internet you use from 7am to 11pm. For residential service users they get priority meaning they'll always get 300mbps speed while others on RV Service or portability may get lesser, but only if its congested, if not even they will still get 300mbps.
After q residential service user crosses 1tb in daytime usage he'll become like RV user and be deprioritised but will still get 300mbps if not congested.

I use RV Service and I'm deprioritised and I still get 300mbps everytime coz Africa hasn't been congested yet.

Starlink is only doing that for USA and Canada that is congested but it hasn't even begun yet.

Get your facts right
you get power. From his posts, that guy obviously never bought a Starlink kit, much less returned one as he claims.

please get the name. That's what I need. My Airtel 300gb is serving me for now. This starlink is alot of problems. Plus I only need to use this at home, so if I'm outside I will have to buy data again. Unlike my Airtel router which I can just carry or put in my car while I drive to anywhere. I'm not looking for where to spend money, but how to save it the more. You can snap the IPTV and post it here let's see😔

Abeg who is currently using starlink in a duplex where you have their router and ethernet adapter in bedroom upstairs and hub downstairs in the living room to connect second TV and android box

Cos my house already has wire conduit to run cables for Internet. Will I be able to run to starlink cable through this conduit from roof opening to my room?

Read that starlink notified people in US that they know they used torrent and if they continue their account and connection could be terminated and could go to court.

Now, in US torrenting is a crime, but in Nigeria its legal and we can download without vpn on it without wahala.

That's why I'm asking if anyone has used it torrent and what was the experience during and after

Bro, mine eats 100w.
Is that what you calling power hungry? That's like a ceiling fan.
Anyway, for me I've enough batteries so I don't feel the 100w. Maybe your backup is small that's why u feel it
bro no matter how it is 100watts is quite high

It really isn't about a small set up

With starlinks u will b running it for 24hrs which is 2.4kw per day

Thankfully we get sun for atleast 6 good hrs(not all brightness brings d best power)

U r left with average of 15_18hrs left that'll take from battery whivh is 1.5kw+

Even at 14kw battery that's still alot of power

With fan u get to shut it off from time to time(if it's cooling too much)..

In d end its still much

D mtn 5g hynet doesn't even gets above 40 watts

starlink is not unlimited, it 1 terabyte. Go and confirm very well before making quotes. I've already returned mine, starlink is not for people like me. It's a waste of time, space and money. I am always on the internet, maybe not a very heavy user, I used about 100gb a month, and that okay with me. With 20k I get 200gb on Airtel which I can carry around, yet i hardly finish it.
I don't think I believe this theory about returning

Nevertheless you could easily have sold to ppl interested on this platform

Currently it's stock in nigeria is filled it'll b coming directly from d US to here now.

Ps. Starlink is still unlimited atleast for now

So, Starlink is increasing its monthly pricing in some areas and reducing in others in the US, starting 24th April. I just hope all these ones will not touch us here in Naija.

RV pricing also increasing from $135 to $150

By the way, mine just landed in Lagos this morning, according to DHL tracking status.

I was wrong at 100watt.
At night, using only batteries, I checked my house watt usage and it was 112watts. Thats the entire house. The things on in the house giving that 112 watts are: 2 TVs (not sure if other guy put on his own, but mine was on), 3 dstv decoders, 4 energy bulbs, My android Box for tv (left streaming with tv on), and Starlink actively running all internet appliances.

All of this was eating 112 watts.

How much of all of that do you think starlink was consuming?
Their site says 40watts, but i believe it may go lower than that at times from what I am seeing.

With all of these appliances on, I sleep with my battery at 25.8v and by morning it is down to only 25.2v. That is still like 95% of battery.

I doubt it will go up to $50 in even 5-7 years we are emerging markets. Third world people

lol this is better then

Yes during a certain period it's watts usage tend to go lower

What was calculated on site should be it's starting max power usage..

Ps . What sort of tvs do u have running that doesn't use up to 60watts each( is it a 32 inch?)
Well like what u said probably d other person using d other tv didn't turn his on..

Pls debunk the story about starlink eating 100 watts..

Some of us don dey fear...

My biggest problems about starlink is not the fact that I need electricity. I have solar and can power it, if all comes to worse, I'll get a battery backup for it. Now here comes the problem, I go out alot to shoot video's, create content etc. That's where the router comes in place. If the router has access to battery in built, then I could squeeze it in my bag or my car when ever I move out. What's the point of paying 33k for data, while getting a small router and payin 10k extra just to have data to use outside? Maybe starlink is not for me,
Buy that i better pass my neighbor gen and squeeze into your car.
That should solve it
