Saw the email and I have just been thinking. I want to cancel my sub till further notice but make I wait till 6th to see if them go reduce am.
Immediately I saw the mail, I was happy because I am scheduled to renew my subscription on the 8th, and changes are coming on the 6th, two days before then.

The backlash will be mad!!! Because itโ€™s gonna role up everyone who bought at black market rate. They can mitigate this by converting the difference to subscription for the early adopters but I doubt they will make it that cheap.

They would update the price to reflect the rate fintechs are using and then accept naira payments. Iโ€™m sure they would also keep the pay in dollar option too for people that readily have forex.

I think the best thing that can happen to payments in Nigeria is for PayPal to allow naira payments directly. Regardless of the rate. That will open our market big time and other services (google, meta, Amazon) will follow

VERY IMPORTANT!

When you get your Starlink tracking number, call DHL on this number 0803 907 7000 and make sure you update the details on the shipment. You can also do it on the DHL Express app.

This is very important. I know 3 people that had 1 week extra delay because of wrong address / no phone number on the package.

The problem also is that Starlink USA ships it to Starlink Nigeria and uses your name as Care/Of C/O. So please make sure you contact DHL and update your information with them IMMEDIATELY you get your tracking number.

I was driving when I got my tracking number, I parked and called DHL Lmao. Me I no like story at all! And I got my item very quickly, the DHL guy even told me it's good I called because they wrote rubbish on they package.

You can even tell them to just hold it at a DHL office especially the one at the airport so you can go and pick it up yourself. But note that because it was shipped to Starlink Nigeria and your name used as C/O, ONLY YOU can pick it up personally. Nobody else but ONLY YOU in person with your ID of course. Sometimes this is simpler than allowing them to try to deliver and making mistake up and down. Lol my guys went through this but then they never did the information update that I talked about earlier. 1 week after e reach Lagos them never see Starlink and they are all in Lagos. Meanwhile I got mine same day lol.

Boss, cancel ke? What happened? Why do you want to cancel? Is it that the service is not good again? Or why? And when you cancel, how do you intend to get back to it? Or is your service RV that can be paused?

Nothing short of exceptional service, I'm not gonna be around for a while. So I believe I can cancel then resume service when back, also my area is very available with no congestion so that would not be an issue when resuming.

I have moved to a new address and my current address is waitlisted but less than 5 miles from my new address, I was able to set my location to that place.

Hopefully when I finally hang my Starlink, i will get reception. Pray for me ๐Ÿ˜ญ

It should work. My current service address is about 8km from my actual address and totally outside of my Starlink hexagonal area, and it works fine. I had to use the service address because my hexagonal area has reached capacity.

Just make sure to use the nearest service address to your actual physical address, outside of your hexagonal area, and it will work.

It's always good to understand a conversation before jumping into it. Otherwise, it makes you look... Somehow.

His statement is a technical one, and only those who understand Starlink's address and map system would know why he is concerned.

With regard to the Apollo Group TV subscription, I hope you're aware that in the USA, Mexico & Canada only, you can watch up to 5 streams on only two (2) different networks (IP addresses) at a time. For all other regions across the world, you can watch up to 5 streams (TV, Phone, Laptop, Computer etc) on only one (1) network at a time (simultaneously).

To beat this, you might have to invest in a reliable VPN that offers a Static IP address for y'all to be able to stream simultaneously.

At the moment, the crystal IPTV (ottcst) is down as a result of the police raid in the Netherlands that happened a few days ago. And I understand that some accounts opened before January still work (I have one), while those opened from sometime in January are the ones affected by the shutdown.

Personally, I don't invest longterm in any unofficial IPTV. Maximum I do is 3 or 6 months, but never a year cos of the possibility of a shutdown just like this recent one.
