Tecno has unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the Tecno Phantom V Fold. The device debuted with some features that supersede Samsung Fold 4. The amazing features in the device include a large 7.85-inch display, triple rear camera configuration which consists of 50MP, 50MP and 13MP, 13MP, and 32MP selfie, and a 5000 Mah non-removable Li-Po battery for an increased usage time.

The camera

The rear camera or main camera consists of a triple camera which includes a dual 50MP camera and a 13MP camera. The rear camera configuration records both 4K and 1080P videos at 30 fps.

Display

Tecno Phantom V Fold debuted with a large 6.85-inch foldable AMOLED 2X display that comes with a resolution of 2000 x 2296 pixels. The display is bigger than the 7.6-inch display of the fourth Samsung Galaxy Fold. Both the Tecno V Fold and the Galaxy Fold 4 features a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for increased screen protection.

The cover display of the Tecno V Fold measures 6.42 inches.

Battery

Standard on the Phantom V Fold is a 5000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery that can last the whole day, while its major competitor, the Galaxy Fold 4 features a non-removable 4400 mAh Li-Po battery.

RAM and ROM

Two storage options are available on the device, 256GB and 512GB, both storage options come standard with 12GB for improved speed and performance. No SD card slot, every information is stored in the device.

Operating system and platform

Tecno Phantom V Fold runs on Android 13. The company also installed the world’s fastest chipset, Mediatek Dimensity 9000+ on the device.
The device comes with 5G connectivity.

The price of Tecno Phantom V Fold in Nigeria starts from 695,000 Naira for the 256GB and 775,000 Naira for the 512GB variant.

They never give out their camera module+sensor specifications because they are generic sensors just pixel size and other non-working/fake decorations camera.
What is triple 50mp trash instead of a Sony Imx 989, Samsung GM2, Leica ...... etc

I know about full specs of both devices. I wowed about Tecno releasing a foldable device so soon, that's why I posted it here to alert Tecno fans.

This is the real deal from TECNO. The phantom X2 is one of the best thing this month.

This is very innovative.

Rome was never built in a day and that's what we all need to understand. We must commend TECNO for not relenting in giving the best.
