Thoughts? How does the banker to some of the most innovative money spinning businesses go belly up? I hear Chipper Cash is one of their customers. Any possible direct impact in them?

Startups also in a lot of mud. See how they hid the news on Friday American time when most of the world would have closed for the weekend.

The bank collapsed as a result of interest rates, inflation and investments as a result of too much money. No impact on any of their customers. Every one will get paid.

They will get their money.

As with any policy there are benefits and risks. It helps to stimulate the economy by increasing lending, it also helps the institutions. It was changed to 0% during the covid crises. One of the risks is what happened to svb.

They will get their money.

Are they getting their money because the money was there or because the US Federal government intervened?

You are right, the govt intervened. If the govt had not, it would have been a serious crises for regional banks.
