NYSC warns against unauthorised use of corps uniforms, logo, others

The management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has said that it is compelled to bring to the notice of the general public the dangers of unauthorized use of NYSC uniform, logo, lyrics, literature and other intellectual materials associated with the Scheme.

The Scheme said it is greatly disturbed by the circulation of various content on social media for entertainment and political purposes.

The National Youth Service Corps said it remains apolitical and neutral in the ongoing political and electioneering process and that the unregulated materials continue to portray the NYSC in bad light.

The Scheme cited section 14 of NYSC Act which clearly specifies that any person who, not being a person serving in the corps or duly authorised so to do, but wears the uniform or any part of the uniform of the service corps is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of N1,000.00 or to imprisonment for a term of six months or to both.

“The Management of the Scheme henceforth, will not hesitate to initiate legal action against any individual or group that contravenes the provisions of the NYSC Act as regards the use of the NYSC uniform. The general public should please take note,” the scheme said.

someone will just go and get a uniform ( Army, Police, Navy Civil Defense etc) for intimidation, extortion, propaganda and for the media likes and attention.

Okay.

Meanwhile vote GRV to end the feudal dynasty and liberate the good people of Lagos from the hegemony of Tinubu and his cronies.

So the other that an elderly man nearly beat me up in Owerri when I told him that it is important he votes in the house of Assembly elections.

He said he won't, not after having stayed at the polling unit from morning till night to vote and defend his vote in the last election only to get home and hear a different result from the one he witnessed at the poll.

He swore he will never waste his time going to vote again.

I understood his grouse and frustration. That had been the plan of the APC all along - for people to give up and abandon the process so that the rigging this time will be clinical.

But I urge everyone, go out and vote. Not voting is actually one voting for the wrong party and person.

As for Imo State you know how a single lady who had raw sex during ovulation counts the date to her next period, that's how everyone is enduring and counting down to when the tenure of Supreme Court stooge will come to an end.

I'm sure shame won't allow him to seek for reelection.
