Bros there is market here ooo I once went for an interview at February (2021) and guess what almost every body there where into mern stack and just one PHP guy guess after the interview who they called (the PHP guy) after like a month I called the PHP guy he told me they gave him the job then for like a month or so I started looking at jobs and I noticed that there are alot of PHP(laravel) jobs popping up and also a whole lot of node is jobs too but what I find out is that people(new programmers) learn the JavaScripts stacks(mern) meaning there way more JavaScript developers than PHP developers currently in Nigeria so I decided to learn PHP and laravel and that was what I did and couple of months later I got a job much quickly then I was forced to learn Vue js and in which I did, later after some months I left the job and found another one that pays higher than the previous one and after about 6 month of working in my new company my fellow colleague left and I was the only one working it took about a month and half to get another qualified developer guess why? because most people ran to JavaScript (mern) stack and just forgot that PHP still hold large percent of the webspace and the people who even came earlier for the interview where seriously unskilled(mediocres) because the interview debugging challenge was a very simple ones and they couldn't even pass it, I worked alone for more than a month plus before we get a replacement even if i want to learn any thing now iinstead of going back to mern stack I will learn angular,c# and dot net all those raining ones competition too dey there abeg

The market is big and welcoming for new devs. But experience dev trying to scale to build large scale applications. It’s not getting friendly anymore. Choice language are enterprise driven languages. E.g C# or Java. Now Go is starting to be a thing among devs
