Hitherto I used to have issues with anyone that says that Lagos is a no man's land.... but with the recent happenings especially in the political settings, I'm beginning to see from their point of view.

If it's not a no man's land, how can you be contesting and celebrating your win over another tribe that have their own region?

Is it just in Lagos that election took place ?

If Gbedebo comes second in this election ahead of Jandor, it means Lagos is now divided into majority=Yoruba, minority=igbos.

Never in this life have I seen something like this....a tribe disowning their own because of politics.

If tomorrow Gbedebo becomes a mayor in UK or the president of Nigeria....I hope he will still be igbo?

Firstly,let's start by defining what a no man's land is. It's a place that's uninhabitable,where there are no rules,no control,where no one understand who the ruler is. Can that be said about Lagos? nope!
If it's a no man's land why not remove the oba of Lagos and leave the position empty?😄


Geographically,it falls in the south - west.Bordered by Republic of Benin to the west and Ogun to the north and east.
Lagos is indigenous to the Aworis and Egun people mostly found on Lagos Island and Badagry respectively . Ikorodu and Epe was founded by Ijebu’s from Ogun State... due to it’s proximity to Lagos.

All of these people identify as Yoruba and speak Yoruba.
I'll be frank with you,not admitting that the Yoruba are native to Lagos “EKO” and own Lagos is equivalent to you disrespecting the culture and history of a whole people .

Maybe they control politics in Lagos but all their lands are being bought by ibos😂😂 while they disown their brothers.

I don't really have issues with how you treat Gbadebo....my question is how is winning Gbadebo means winning Igbos as you people are celebrating?
Does it mean that igbos are co owners of Lagos or that the election was between Yorubas and igbos?
