That's a gneiss there. These are metamorphic rocks formed and cooled at depth, solid by the time it becomes exposed to the surface, how then will a giant leave his footprint on a solid hard rock. If it were to be a sedimentary rock then you could have a mould of such footprints but on a metamorphic or igneous rock, it's impossible. Even if it were to be that he stepped on molten magma (lava), which is unlikely, you still wouldn't have the prints intact.
