A customer transferred 9k to my account with Access Bank since 13/03/2023 from First Bank.
The customer was debited immediately. When I told the customer I had not yet seen any alert, he went to his Bank, First Bank Plc to lodge complaints. He was told at the Bank that the money has been sent to my own account at Access Bank. However up till date, I have not received the alert, while he has beem deducted.

I have also noticed many others with same issues with Acccess Bank. What could be the problem with Access Bank?

Modified: I just received the alert today

Tell the sender to ask his bank to forward him the transaction ticket...that is what access bank will use to trace ur money and credit u.

I had similar issue on two occasions.. that is,from access to first bank.

They have all been reversed.

Always use PalmPay or Opay for all your transactions this period

let them be dangling around with these clueless physical banks. It is their cluelessness that made me trust them with huge funds but for day to day transactions they will embarrass you.

Simply ask the person to share the receipt of the transaction with you on WhatsApp,if it show successful, confirm it with your bank balance.i will advise you to henceforth open opay account with your phone number.you Will be seeing your alerts in split seconds.then you will move it to your main account.opay are miles ahead of all Nigerian bank put together, their network is super reliable.opay even give interest on your money whereas Nigerian useless bank with be deducting all sorts from your account.

Multiple delayed transactions with Access bank recently... The problems with Opay, palmpay and the look alike is "customer service" when something happens, solving it is not always easy. They don't have physical branch near me

Lol I wanted to create a thread saying, "What's the problem with Access bank?" and I saw this one.
I am so stressed right now. Their Ussd, App (worst) and customer service number, no one is going through. I am reasoning closing my account with them this time around.

They have changed their USSD code to *701# now from *901#. It works fast.

I've also received the alert just now.

NB: That's the last time I will use Access Bank for any transfer. Opay is the best. 1 sec

will they eventually credit me? I need the money urgently, I am on the receiving end and no credit alert since yesterday afternoon. I've told the sender to report the transaction to his bank.
They will credit you if it was sent.

Oh I don't use first bank but, payment reference should be seen if you tap the transaction info (in the transaction history)
