Check this... First on arrival he met with the president, then he addressed their parliament, they agreed with him and then he confer the whatever title he wanted to...

Some people would have gone their to promote their rights and then started calling the place a no man's land... Imagine all the praises the Ooni showered on Brazil for helping his People flourish...

Na SW common sense dey live walahi

Seriously.... no passing of boundaries, no dey abuse person religion, no dey abuse host and their heritage or drag land with them.....even if Yoruba re to run for a political sits, they do with sense not for selfish reason or to prove some stupid point... and Yoruba re logical in decision making, they re not emotional and later start crying like babies up and down. grin

Shey you know that you lack sense?

Brazilians welcomed una, why didn't they tell your people to go to SW of Nigeria with una yeye title?

But your yorubs people was shouting go una state to go vote. Imagine parliament saying yoruba should go to their states?

Naturally you are not smart. If you were clever enough you would see that he went to a sovereign country so it is right for him to see the leader in that country. PO came to Lagos and wanted to see the Oba of Lagos of which he refused to see him.

Nobody is saying this is an act that inanimately echoes that Brazil is no man's land.

Same people who were propaganda tools used by APC during the Lagos elections saying the Igbos wanted to overtake the yorubaland through another yoruba man, are here on this topic praising this they'd call annexation if it happened in Lagos. But since it's not the Igbos, "it is a good development for a civilised world".

Nigerians, which way!

I see comments on this topic and smile. So you know how to reason like human beings but choose not to when it doesn't support your views?

It's good I know Yorubas that aren't this dumb to be used by APC tricks.

Meanwhile, tribalists, now fall on your sword.

Cheers.
that has been the reason they don’t prosper. Not all

Certificate of Yoruba Territory to Quilombola in Brazil
Read again..

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has officially presented a Certificate of Yoruba Territory to Quilombola territory in Brazil, making the city the first outside Africa to receive the title.

The highly revered Yoruba king also on Tuesday addressed Brazil’s Federal House of Assembly where he officially inaugurated the first-ever National Orisa Day in the South American country.

A statement from Ooni’s Media Aide, Moses Olafare, said Ogunwusi addressed the Brazilian Parliament on the special session for Isese Practitioners marking the national day for Orisa religion in Brazil.

They’re Brazilians. They’re called *Nagos people of Brazil* . Their origin is Ile-ile..

This isn’t a wuruwuru certificate o. Certificate that passed through office of Brazil president & Brazilian parliaments. You know what that means?

It means the Brazil government was the one that wanted the certificate for the Nagos from their Heritage..

Spiritual culture that has roots and substance cannot be killed. Not even by slavery
It is present not just in Brazil but Cuba,Miami,Mexico, and Venezuela

Congrat to them..

They’re Brazilians. They’re called *Nagos people of brazil* They’re well loved in Brazil. Infact, many others Brazilian extraction are fast learning their culture - Ifa,sango,Ogun etc.

Government gave them every liberty cuz of their good character and heritage. Their culture is one of the best and well respected culture in Brazil.

If you’re a Yoruba, Brazil is like your brotherly-hood. Their visa isn’t hard. No discrimination. Good foods, culture & nice atmospheric condition. It’s where you can go for vacation..
If I no visit this particular place for vacation make I know why

If Yorubas including Obas can refer to their own children born in marriages between their sons and their Igbo wives as Omo Ale (Baztards) because of ordinary governorship and state Assembly elections then I think these Brazilians who are in another continent should move on with their lives and forget about any fake Orisa.

You are whipping up sentiments based on LIES

Adeleke
The Governor of Osun has an Ibo mother
No one called him Omoale.
Every Yoruba traces their origin to That state
That is our Garden of Eden
A person will only be called omoale for his words and behaviour
Not where his mother is from

You are being disrespectful calling Orisa fake
Presumably you are Christian and would not like Jesus called fake
But then many of you are Christian with mouth only
