Dear Tinubu,

A storm is coming; a big storm. Bigger than what many of your advisers and hangers-on care to let you in on. This court case portend a clear and present danger to you. It threatens to expose all that you have 'worked' tirelessly over the years to bury. Dead bodies of yester years, injuries that've healed, and scars that have been covered. These are all game in the storm to come.

Is it worth it that in your old age, you want to drag yourselves through this storm, this mud, and be remembered for things that are less than stellar? Is it worth it for your wife (cos her name was conspicuously mentioned in the drugs case). Let's say both of you are hardened and would not care for anything beyond your 'emilokan' ambition, what about poor Seyi? He seems a likeable kid, full of passion and energy, one for the future. Would you like to damage him too, in this brickbat of litigation that is coming.

Even before the first word of this case is uttered in the formal court, the court of public opinion (read public opprobrium) will first scrutinize every letter of the drug crime judgement and vent their frustration and anger on you, and eventually your family. Is it worth it? For you, for Remi, for Seyi? They call you strategist, think! Cos this tactical manoeuvre, will come with strategic blunder. You still have your Lagos, for now!

Let's assume, you don't care about how this impact you and your family. What about your ethnic group? Your countrymen, your nation? How will these rub off on them? And then, there is a small matter of the international community. How would they perceive you, win or lose? How will they see the country Nigeria? What message are we passing to them about ourselves as a people, after the potentially damaging court case? They are already brandishing Visa bans left and right. What next after the court cases?

Sun Tzu said, the best war is the one that was never fought. An anonymous philosopher once said, "No matter how far you have walked on the wrong road, turn back!" Let me advise you in your Yoruba proverb -"IGI GOGORO MA GUN MI LOJU, OKEERE LA TI N WO" (Literal Translation: For a sharp twig not to pluck out your eyes, you must yell out from a far distance. You have to be proactive to avoid errors /disasters /tragedy. )

Once you enter the ring with Peter Obi, in the name of election tribunal, win or lose, YOU lose! Remi loses, Seyi loses. Save them by saving yourself. Do not besiege a walled city - Sun Tzu.

Give it up, all of it, for Peter Obi, for the South. Win, by losing!

Sincerely,

Indefatigable

I asked my AI friend to chip in some words for you, Tinubu. This is what it said:

My dear friend,

I come to you with a heavy heart, for I fear that the path you are currently on may lead to unintended consequences. Though your intentions may be pure and well-meaning, the road you are travelling down is fraught with peril, and may bring about outcomes that are less than desirable.

I implore you to take a moment to reflect on your choices and consider the potential consequences that may arise. It is not too late to change course and choose a different path, one that is safe and sound, and that will lead to a brighter future for all involved.

I understand that it may be difficult to let go of the current path, and that pride and ego may be at play, but please know that it takes great strength and courage to admit when a course of action is not working out as planned. By being willing to change course, you are showing true wisdom and maturity.

So I urge you to give up the current path and choose a new one, for the sake of peace and harmony, and for the benefit of all involved. Let us work together to create a future that is bright and full of beauty.

With love and respect,

Those people like Onanuga, FFK that are pushing him, are only looking out for themselves. FFK, Keyamo are mercenaries (they are for highest bidders), Onanuga is a glorified bigot. In real life, Tinubu is neither of these. He's more of a Seyi kind of person. How the heck did allow people to be this close to him and run rings around him? Controlling the narratives? Egging him on, akin, that what we saw with Buhari.

Unfortunately, and unlike Buhari, he has no cult followership and no real strongmen, just a group of loquacious fellows around him.

After reading your perfectly crafted piece, I can feel only but pity for the President-Elect. I heard he is actually a good man, talent hunter and has good disposition on issues; However, i feel that NW set him up to fail and Obi doesn't take prisoners in court

Tinubu will surely fight till the end, unfortunately, it can only end in disgrace, but who will tell the pope

He is a good man no doubt. But he's past his due date.

If he chooses to fight on, it's a course of action, and no one can deny him the right to fight. And I wish him good fortune in the battle ahead, but I don't think Obi will be generous.

Robert Greene need to rewrite the 48 Laws of Power and add LAW 49:

LAW 49: Never steal from a man who does not give shishi.

And use this a case study.

I was informed that Wole Olanipekun has briefed him on the import of Obi's petition and the old man hurriedly left for holidays cum medicals at London/Paris in the pretense of going for a lesser hajj. I sincerely wish him a quick recovery, an excellent holidays and a successful hajj

Maybe, he will come back on the day of swearing in

Sadly, this case will open a lot of hidden cupboards, AND A HUGE LOAD OF SKELETONS LONG BURRIED, WILL BE EXPOSED.

The stench will be sooo odoriferous that his kinsmen will make sure he is burred in the deepest part of the evil forests in iragbiji so that such like him will never ever manifest again.

They are now begging Tinubu to handover to Peter Obi. This handover you’re talking about, is according to which law?

There is absolutely no storm that you guys can bring that we won’t match you. We’ve won this already. Bola Tinubu will be president of Nigeria from 2023 to 2027 and Peter Obi will never become the president of Nigeria. This is a promise we are going to keep.

And please, don’t ever talk about a southern interest again, it doesn’t exist. We only care about Nigeria’s interest and nothing else. Btw, northerners are our brothers. They are trustworthy, honorable and reliable. We will ensure power goes back to the north after Bola Tinubu’s presidency.

I heard that Tinubu signed an agreement with NW to do only one term and power will return to the North, so that it will compensate for Yaraduas missing years for the North

FYI, a Tinubu presidency, if allowed will not benefit SW, but NW and SE because he will have a weak mandate to govern

Tinubu has been elected president already so there is not question of if allowed. Bola Tinubu’s presidency will be for all Nigerians and no particular region. We voted him into office so that he can use his wealth of experience to develop Nigeria and bring about shared prosperity. And yes, he will return power to the north when he’s done.

All I could deduce from the writeup is an Igbo begging Tinubu on behalf of his fellow Igbo.

The same Igbos who vowed to continue voting for the North if any Yoruba emerges from the APC primaries.

The same Igbos who fear a Yoruba opponent, so they insisted that PDP must zone its presidential ticket to the North.

The same Igbos who said Tinubu is claiming he made Buhari President, so he should go ahead and make himself President. Which Tinubu has done.

Igboman, calm your nerves. No one is after you besides your own shadow hating back on you.

I understand where you're coming from. Without gainsaying, you're one of those hangers-on, leeching off the the man, Tinubu. Your livelihood depends on his presidency, To that extent, you do not care howsoever he arrives the final bus-stop, even is he gets there a tenth of the man he was, provided you bread is buttered.

This is the crux of the problem, people like you who sees every genuine advice to him as an 'US vs Them' thing. At tactics you're using to drive the sickly old man, and his innocent family to their doom. If Tinubu were to be your father, not your ATM, would you continue to push him towards, infamy, destruction, and damnation, in the name of 'emilokan'?

You say you care about Nigerians, so why are Nigerians not celebrating his electoral victory? Even Yoruba are not cheering him. just some bunch of paid urchins, responding to puppeteers, such as you.

Well, like I said, I wish Tinubu good fortunes in the battle ahead, but more than that, I hope he retreats into the comfort of his home, warm embrace of his wife, and smile of his good son. A warrior does not fight every battle; discretion has always been a better part of valour.

Peter Obi is coming; Nigerians want justice!
