The flesh is weak and it is a thorn in our journey in walking with God,God Almighty loves us and has shed his blood for us,He bought us with a price. All we have to do is to go down on our knees and wholly or fully accept him as our Lord and personal Saviour. The blood of Jesus has set us free ,but nevertheless we have two enemies our weak flesh and the devil.there are sins called besetting sins that makes us cry out to God every day.this sins brings upon our lives shame and guilt.it brings fear and shame on us and makes us fearful or ashamed to come before God. Like Paul the apostle who had a besetting sin when he cried out to God in the book of Romans 7:24-25 " Oh wretched man that I am who shall save me from this body of death 25 " I thank God through Jesus Christ our lord so then with the mind I serve the law of God but with the flesh I serve the law of sin." Our work with Christ is a daily battle,a daily warfare that should be taken one day at a time. By reading the word and through prayer can we be able to overcome sin. Everyday is an opportunity to seek repentance and forgiveness for going out of line with the word of God. I want to use this opportunity to plead with those who are yet to accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior,kindly get down on your knees and say this prayer " Lord I come to you as a sinner I hereby commit my life to you , I know you died for me on the cross and that you have shed your blood ,please kindly come and deliver me and wash me with your precious blood.i want you to become my personal Lord and Savior please Jesus save me and wash me clean. I humbly accept my faults and can not do it without you. Congratulations you are now a born again Child of God. get a bible a good Church where Christ is preached and make sure you read the bible daily and morning and evening coupled with prayers.
