The angel didn’t tell Muhammad to fear not as typical of God’s angel:

Muhammad needed a so called Christian called Waraqa in order to be proclaimed a prophet.

So called Christian because Waraqa if trully a Christian should have tested the spirit that appeared to Muhammad as written in the Bible

If Waraqa knew this verse, he would have known that a spirit from God wouldn’t have pinned Muhammad down three times, he would have known that the spirit that appeared to Muhammad was the spirit of false prophet!

Waraqa was the one that suggested the entity that pinned Muhammad down thrice in the cave was Gabriel because according to him, the same Gabriel was sent to Moses

That statement from Waraqa shows that he was not a knowledgeable Christian, he didn’t know the scriptures because if he did, he would have known that there is no scripture that talk about Angel Gabriel ever going to Moses!
