The GRV is not of Yoruba origin.. that his forefathers settled in Lagos doesn't make him Lagosian or of Western blood.

Yorubas need to be careful cos most non-Yorubas that have stayed in South West for long now give their kids Yoruba name, even Igbos have started doing that. I can still stomach Binis and Itsekiris that we somewhat share cultural ties with but Igbos? there is definitely a hidden motive.

Yoruba parents should please teach their children Yoruba and let them show interest in our culture so they can "think in Yoruba".. there are Yorubas in Brazil and other parts of the Caribbean speaking our Yoruba dialect well, so what is your own excuse as a Yoruba parent for not teaching your offsprings Yoruba language?
