As much as we want to criticise the man for making it look like an amusement Park, let us also implore our governors to imitate the governor

We need more of this

The numbers of airports in Texas alone are more than number of airports in the whole of Nigeria

Well done, meaning 4 out of 5 Eastern states now have airports.

Let devopmental projects be a competition across Nigerian states

Texas is bigger than Nigeria.
The economy of Texas is bigger than West Africa.
So why the comparison?

The money looted by Apc cronies in the past 8years is bigger than Texas and atleast two other states in America.

this is an unfair comparison. The economy of Texas is bigger than that of most Africa countries. Let's build the economy first and before we build some infrastructures

I compared both because they got the same landmass, and to be fair with US, infact atleast 10-20 US states got more airports than the whole of Nigeria

Is America not bigger than Nigeria? Is the economy of USA not bigger than Nigeria? Is us democracy not more than 200 years? But when you want to compare nigeria, condem buhari or condemn Nigeria democracy , you won't remember that it is an unjust comparison.. Dey play just dey play..

That's not what we need, we need sustainable projects. You need to ask yourself how many of the airports in Nigeria can sustain themselves without govt intervention.

What economic sense does an airport whether local or international make to a state like Ebonyi where majority of the people live below the poverty line. How many of them can afford to fly? Why waste billions of scarce resources building an airport in Abakiliki when there's another one 40 mins away at Enugu?

The billions wasted on that airport could've been used to build small cottage industries to empower the people financially.

I think instead of engaging in white elephant projects, governors should consider the essential character of their states before taking up any project. Don't build because others are building, build because it's needed and add economic value.

if that's the case, Nigeria economy will not be in such commatose cause no administration has gone on infrastructure drive as much as this one.

infrastructures like this are what drives in investors

Imagine a whole region with only one international airport, a disgrace

I am sure the whole airports in the north are not up to 15, a country with over 200 million people shouldn't be depending on one means of transportation

This is just a vanity project, or a drain pipe. It's not by building an airport. It's about making it a self-sustaining entity.

How let's wait to see when Air Peace would commence direct flights from Lagos or Abuja to Ebonyi, or Ekiti. Not gonna happen in the next 10 years, not when the Enugu airport and the Ibadan airport are still operating at less than 50% capacity.

I agree, that PMB did put some infrastructure in place, but they question is why borrow away your future to put infrastructure that will be vandalized by criminals.

Ebonyi International Airport is good & commendable, but most inhabitants of the state are mainly civil servants and poor. Well, development is a slow process.
