Asalamu Alaikum
Wa Salamu Wa Salamu Ala Rusulullah

As to what follows:

Today Insahallah we will talk about one of the main characteristics of a believer. In fact, some have said that this is the queen of all of the manner of the believer. Allah says in the Quran "The worshipers of Ar-rahman are those who walk with humility on this earth, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say word of peace.(Quran 25:63).

Notice how Allah links worshiping him with humility. And that is why our scholars say. That one of the defining characteristics of a Iman is humility. You cannot have Iman if you have an atoms weight of arrogance in your heart.

So today let summarise, what is humility.

Realised Dear brothers and sisters, that the Arabic term for humility is "Tawwadar". And "Tawwadar" means to "lower yourself". "Tawwadar" means you are putting yourself down constantly; you are conquering your own ego. That's the very linguistics meaning of "Tawwadar".
Our prophet was commanded by Allah in the Quran. "Lower your wings in front of the believers" (show humility)". (Quran 26:215)
If even our Prophet is being told to lower his wings then how about us.

Our scholars mentioned certain signs of humility, we should monitor and see if we have these signs.

1. Of the signs of humility is to not want to be in the limelight, to not want to always be at the forefront in any gathering. When you're amongst a group of people, to feel I want to be the most centre of attention. This is not a sign of humility. You should be grudging, you should be pushed forward, as our Prophet said, that we don't give leadership to those who desire it. Others should tell you and encourage you to desire to be in that position.

2. Of the signs of humility, is that when somebody praises you, you feel uncomfortable. You should not relish praise, much less crave it.

3. Of the signs of humility, is to recognise mistakes and sins and to confess in front of Allah your sins and to acknowledge mistakes in front of other people. One of the main test, if you are humble or not, is once you recognise you have committed an error. Will you apologize or not?
So if you're humble, and you recognize you've made a mistake, and you cannot apologize for the mistake then Clearly there's an issue of humility.

Our Prophet embodied humility in his life. The way the he interacted with people, the way that he lived, the way that he slept and ate, the way the he dressed. Nobody could tell him apart when they entered into a gathering, they would have to ask which one of you is Muhammad. The Prophet did not like to be praised. Anas ibn Malik said, "That because we knew he didn't like it, we wouldn't stand up in his presence, we would be humble in front of him because he did not want to be centre of attention".
Even amongst the sahaba (companions), he would dress in the simplest of garments. He had no problem riding a mule or donkey, even though he could afford a camel or horse, and the people would address him with his "Kuniya" (title), [Ya Abu Qassim (O father of Qassim], and he did not mind this at all. And our prophet mended his own shoes and milk, his own goats and camels, he did not command his servants and his wives to do things for him. So these are some of the things that we can see whether we are humble or not.
What are some of the fruits of humility? What happens when we are humble.

1. Of the most important blessing of being humble, is that Allah loves you.
Our Prophet said, should I not tell you of the one whom Jahanam has been made haram for? They said who, he said, the one who is easy going and soft. The one who's soft and humble, everybody knows and loves him. Allah loves that person who is humble and simple.

2. Our Prophet said "whoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah will raise him higher".
Whoever humbles himself Allah will dignify him; whoever has humility, Allah will bless him with honour.
If you are truly humble, you will be beloved, admired, and respected. And if you desire fame and desire arrogance, then even if people outwardly give it to you, because of your wealth or power, in wardly they hate and dislike you. It is only the truly humble whom Allah blesses. And so the humble person is actually the one who has the most honour in the eyes of the people, even though in his own eyes he doesn't think that he is worthy. This is the essence of humility.

HOW DO WE ACHIEVE HUMILITY?

1. We studied the dangers of arrogance. Understand that arrogance is the sin of Iblees (Satan). Understand that arrogance is the sin of Pharoah. When you understand how evil arrogance is, that our prophet Said, "That no one who has an atom's weight of arrogance shall enter Jannah".
When we understand this, then you will recognize the importance of humility.

2. Monitor your heart anytime you feel that you're better than somebody. Remember, better and not more privileged. You should think you are the most privileged and blessed person on earth no problem, but never feel better than somebody.

3. We should increase our private actions of worship, we do worship when nobody is watching especially Tahajjud (night prayer) and giving secret charity. this is of ways we practice humility.

4. Our Prophet said, if you wish to find me. you will find me amongst the weak, poor, orphan. That where you will find me for Allah helps a nation because of the weak, the poor, the orphans and the widows. So if you want to be truly humble then be involved with those that are less privileged. Hang around those that are socially and economically disenfranchised. They the ones whom society does not look up to.
So to be humble get involved with the weak, poor, orphan and widows and help them, that will help you overcome your own arrogance.

May Allah bless us all with humility.
May Allah eliminate any arrogance from our heart. Allahuma Aameen

Juma'ah Mubarak to you all.
Jazakumullahi khairan wasalamu alaikum warahmaatullahi wa barakatul.

Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.

A believer is the one who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one can come to the Father, except by Him.
So people (Adam, Eve, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon etc) that came before Jesus will enter hell because they don't have Jesus? 🤔

No, the rules changed when Jesus came.

That's why Quran said in Surah 3:55: "O Jesus! I will recall you and raise you up to Me and will purify you of those who disbelieve, and will set your followers above the unbelievers till the Day of Resurrection."

So, the Quran confirmed that those who believe in Jesus will be lifted to heaven above unbelievers.

Aal-e-Imran 3:55

[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.

The advent (descent) of Jesus Mary (peace be upon him)

a) Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, surely Jesus, the son of Mary will shortly descend amongst you (Muslims), and will judge mankind justly by the law of the Qur'an (as a just ruler); he will break the Cross (i.e correct false teaching about him) and kill the pigs (forbid the meat) and there will be no Jizyah* (i.e. taxation taken from non-Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it." Abu Hurairah added: "If you wish, you can recite (this Verse of the Qur'an): "And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) but must believe in him (i.eJesus) [peace be upon him] as a Messenger of Allah and a human being] before his [(Jesus) [peace be upon him] or a Jew's or a Christian's] death, and on the Day of Resurrection, he (Jesus) [peace be upon him] will be a witness against them." (V.4:159).

b) Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "How will you be when the son of Mary (Jesus) [peace be upon him] descends amongst you, and he will judge people by the law of the Qur'an and not by the law of the Injil (Gospel)." (Fath Al-Bari) [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/3449 (O.P.658)]
* The Jizyah: a tax imposed on non-Muslims (who would keep their own religion, rather than embrace Islam) will not be accepted by Jesus (peace be upon him) but all people will be required to embrace Islam and there will be no other alternative.

Meaning of "Take You"

Allah tells,

And (remember) when Allah said:"O Jesus

I will take you and raise you to Myself,

while you are asleep.
Allah said in a similar Ayat,

It is He Who takes your souls by night (when you are asleep). (6:60)
and,

It is Allah Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. (39:42)

The Messenger of Allah used to recite the following words when he would awaken;
All the thanks are due to Allah Who brought us back to life after He had caused us to die (sleep), and the Return is to Him.
Allah said,

And because of their saying, "We killed Al-Masih Jesus son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah," but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared as that to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not.

But Allah raised him up unto Himself. And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.

And there is none of the People of the Scripture, but must believe in him, before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection, he will be a witness against them. (4:156-159)

`His death' refers to Jesus and the Ayah means that;

the People of the Book will believe in Jesus, before Jesus dies. This will occur when Jesus comes back to this world before the Day of Resurrection, as we will explain.

By that time, all the People of the Book will believe in Jesus, for he will annul the Jizyah and he will only accept Islam from people.

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Al-Hasan said that Allah's statement,
(I will take you),

is in reference to sleep, for Allah raised Jesus while he was asleep.
Altering the Religion of Jesus

Allah said,

And purify (save) you from those who disbelieve,

by raising you to heaven,

And I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve, till the Day of Resurrection.

This is what happened. When Allah raised Jesus to heaven, his followers divided into sects and groups.

Some of them believed in what Allah sent Jesus as, a servant of Allah, His Messenger, and the son of His female-servant.

However, some of them went to the extreme over Jesus, believing that he was the son of Allah.

Some of them said that Jesus was Allah Himself, while others said that he was one of a Trinity.

Allah mentioned these false creeds in the Qur'an and refuted them.

The Christians remained like this until the third century CE, when a Greek king called, Constantine, became a Christian for the purpose of destroying Christianity.

Constantine was either a philosopher, or he was just plain ignorant. Constantine changed the religion of Jesus by adding to it and deleting from it. He established the rituals of Christianity and the so-called Great Trust, which is in fact the Great Treachery. He also allowed them to eat the meat of swine, changed the direction of the prayer that Jesus established to the east, built churches for Jesus, and added ten days to the fast as compensation for a sin that he committed, as claimed. So the religion of `Isa became the religion of Constantine, who built more then twelve thousand churches, temples and monasteries for the Christians as well as the city that bears his name, Constantinople (Istanbul).

Throughout this time, the Christians had the upper hand and dominated the Jews. Allah aided them against the Jews because they used to be closer to the truth than the Jews, even though both groups were and still are disbelievers, may Allah's curse descend on them.

When Allah sent Muhammad, those who believed in him also believed in Allah, His Angels, Books and Messengers in the correct manner. So they were the true followers of every Prophet who came to earth. They believed in the unlettered Prophet, the Final Messenger and the master of all mankind, who called them to believe in the truth in its entirety. This is why they had more right to every Prophet than his own nation, especially those who claim to follow their Prophet's way and religion, yet change and alter his religion.

Furthermore, Allah abrogated all the laws that were sent down to the Prophets with the Law. He sent Muhammad with, which consists of the true religion that shall never change or be altered until the commencement of the Last Hour. Muhammad's religion shall always be dominant and victorious over all other religions. This is why Allah allowed Muslims to conquer the eastern and western parts of the world and the kingdoms of the earth.

Furthermore, all countries submitted to them; they demolished Kisra (king of Persia) and destroyed the Czar, ridding them of their treasures and spending these treasures for Allah's sake. All this occurred just as their Prophet told them it would, when he conveyed Allah's statement,

Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice their religion which He has chosen for them. And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they worship Me and do not associate anything with Me. (24:55)

Therefore, Muslims are the true believers in `Isa (Jesus) .

The Muslims then acquired Ash-Sham from the Christians, causing them to evacuate to Asia Minor, to their fortified city in Constantinople. The Muslims will be above them until the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, he, Muhammad, who is truthful and who received the true news, has conveyed to Muslims that they will conquer Constantinople in the future, and seize its treasures.

What you Muslims don't know is that the crucifixion of Jesus is in history, not just something that ends in the Bible alone.

You forgot where the Quran said in Surah Maryam 19:33-34, where Jesus declared that "Peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I die, and the day I will be raised back to life! That is Jesus, son of Mary. ˹And this is˺ a word of truth, about which they dispute."

This means he died and was raised alive, as proclaimed in the Bible.

The Quran only came some 600 years after Jesus was crucified, died and resurrected (raised alive, as described in the Quran).

Many other literatures came long before the Quran written by researchers and historians from Greece and Roman empire, all of which described the crucifixion of Jesus.

The content of the Quran is even the least important and least reliable reference for the subject matter.

Jesus was crucified and died, according to history.

Deuteronomy 21:23
His body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is cursed by God. You shall not defile your land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance.

So you mean Jesus was cursed by God?

Now this is the Tafsir (exegesis) of the verse you quoted
Maryam 19 33
And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!

This is his affirmation that `he (Jesus) is a worshipper of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and that he is a creature created by Allah.

He (Jesus) will live, die and be resurrected, just like the other creatures that Allah has created. However, he will have peace in these situations, which are the most difficult situations for Allah's creatures.'

May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him

He (Jesus) will live, die and be resurrected, just like the other creatures that Allah has created. However, he will have peace in these situations, which are the most difficult situations for Allah's creatures.'

May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him

Yes, Jesus was cursed by God fot that season because he was bearing the burden of the sins of mankind, which was the reason for his crucifixion and death.

Galatians 3:13-14:
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

What Jesus faced was even worse than being cursed by God. God turned his back on him because he couldn't bear the sight of the suffering.

Maybe you should read about the crucifixion of Jesus as recorded by historians of that period. I've read from at least one. These historians explicitly narrated how the crucifixion took place from the Romans' point of view.

Content of the Bible is probable by history and you are still arguing blindly.

Your Quran said he didn't die but my Bible, supported by history, says he died and resurrected.

Whywill i believe the narratives of your Quran that came 600 years after Christ as against the Bible that was written just about 100 years after Christ?

Many of those wrote the new testament associated with Jesus or with Jesus disciples. So, they can be trusted for more authentic narratives than the content of the Quran, which Mohamed himself lamented to be filled with lies (Al-tabari 6:111).

Why Did Prophet Muhammad Come After Jesus?

Short Answer: Mostly because the true message of Jesus was lost with time. Jesus and Muhammad taught the same basic idea: worship God alone, be a good person, be just and generous and helpful and stand on the side of the oppressed. But over time, his message was corrupted by people like Paul. It’s the Paulified …

No negative feelings, but loving pity for the widespread misconception and lack of information on what Islam and its prophet are all about.

Jesus: For the People of Israel Only. Muhammad: All Mankind

While Jesus (peace be upon him) was sent specifically to the Israelites, Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent to all humanity.

According to the Gospels,
“But he [Jesus] answered and said, ‘I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.’” (Matthew 15:24)

In contrast, the Quran declares the universal message of Islam.

The Quran says what means:

Say: “O people! surely I am the Messenger of Allah to you all, of Him Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; there is no god but He; He brings to life and causes to die; therefore believe in Allah and His Messenger, the illiterate Prophet who believes in Allah and His words, and follow him so that you may walk in the right way.” (Quran 7:158)

The Original Message Of Jesus

Jesus, a human monotheistic prophet, repeatedly called people to worship God and warned those who ascribed partners to Him:

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and Him Only.’ (Matthew 4:10)

“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.’” (Mark 12:29)
Jesus emphasized his own humanity:

[As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God.] (John 8:40)

[By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear.] (John 5:30)
Jesus never claimed to be God, or part of a God. He never mentioned Trinity, nor did he appoint a church to entrust itself with reshaping the faith and re-inventing the law.

The deviation started with Paul and some others—leaders, clergy, and philosophers—centuries after Jesus’s departure.

Christianity Today= Paulianity

Christianity as we know it today was re-formulated with its concepts of:

– Trinity , centered around the prophet Jesus who was thenceforth called God, begotten son of God

– The sacrosanct Church of Christ, talking and enacting laws in the name of God

– The story of crucifixion and resurrection from the dead

– Original sin and atonement
Read for example, according to Paul (NIV):

“At once he [Paul]began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God.” (Acts 9:20)

“Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel…” (2 Timothy 2:cool

Pauline Christianity Originated in Pagan Beliefs

Most of these distortions were borrowed or coined from earlier pagan creeds.

Close similarities can be found between this Pauline Christianity and Mithraism, Buddhism, and ancient Egyptian polytheist creeds.

During the seventh century CE when Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent, there were only a few groups of followers of the original message and teachings of Jesus.

The Injeel revealed to Jesus no longer existed in any form , as was the case of the Tawrah of Moses before him.

They were replaced with the Old and New Testaments written by different human authors selected and sanctioned as holy by the Church ecumenical councils, several centuries after the departure of Jesus.

It was high time then to re-establish the eternal guidance of the Creator to all humanity, but this time in a final eternal form, through the Glorious Quran and the detailed teachings and living model of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Jesus prophesied the coming prophet whose universal message will stay forever:

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— ” (John 14:16)

The counselor is prophet Muhammad

Many of those wrote the new testament associated with Jesus or with Jesus disciples. So, they can be trusted for more authentic narratives than the content of the Quran, which Mohamed himself lamented to be filled with lies (Al-tabari 6:111).

There is no such thing like Al-tabari 6:111 in the Qur'an what we have is Al-An'am 6:111

And even if We had sent down to them the angels [with the message] and the dead spoke to them [of it] and We gathered together every [created] thing in front of them, they would not believe unless Allah should will. But most of them, [of that], are ignorant.

It's you who is arguing blindly how can someone die for another man sin?

Jesus died for our sins?!

If Jesus died on the cross and spent three days in hell to pay for the sins of the world, then why would we have to go to hell ourselves and pay for them again? God is then, in essence, being paid for our sins twice. With that said, was Jesus’ sacrifice not worthy enough? If that is the case, why should we care that he died for our sins if his sacrifice means nothing at all? Perhaps one should first ask what hell is really talking about.

Jeremiah 31:30 says "ALL people will die for their own sin" and Paul, in his 1 Corinthians 3:8 said "EVERYBODY receives his/her reward according to his/her labor."

“The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.” (Ezekiel 20:18)

“The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.” (Deuteronomy 24:16)

1 Corinthians 3:8
He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor.

God says: “ ...every man shall be put to death for his own sin” (Deut. 24:16)

Christ is both God and Son of God! Is there any sense in what Paul said above?
supposed God dying for his creatures! This is really the most absurd thing to say. This God cried to God (Matthew 27:46, John 11:35) and prayed to God (Matthew 26:39, John 11:41-42)!!!

Is the God in the old Testament is the same like the weak one described in the new Testament? 🤔

Yes, Jesus died for my sin and shed his blood for me. That's why I don't have to sacrifice a ram every year like Muslims do. The blood of Jesus suffices for me.

The Bible verses you quoted are true and every man should bear his own sin. But if God decides to punish every man for his sins, do you think anything will be left alive on earth? We would all have been destroyed since our sins are greivous.

Psalm 130:3: If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

If God decides to punish you for all your sins, do you think you will still be alive and on good health today? Ask yourself this question.

To show his love for me and because He doesn't want any man to perish, God sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus, to die for my sins and bear the consequences of my grievous actions.

The blood of a sinful man like me cannot wipe away my sins and this is why God sent his Holy Son to shed his sinless blood for me and save me from the consequences of my grievous sins.

Hebrews 2:14: He is like us in every respect except sin....

Even your Quran agrees that Jesus is sinless.

Jesus said in John 15:13 that Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus also said in John 10:15 that As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
