Here in PHC where I based 95% stations closed, just because of a reckless word from Tinubu. Tinubu should understand his words are now the most powerful in Nigeria, every words from his mouth has multiple meaning and interpretation.

It is wrong of him coming on day one to say ''subsidy gone'' every Nigerian knew subsidy will be out latest June, we expected BAT to has setup his team first to manage the removal, also have a deal with Dangote before coming out to declared such statement. I was driving pass to work this morning every bu-stops has hundreds of Nigerian waiting for taxi & buses none at sight, the few ones available prices are tripled the suffering is much.
For those who tribalized good/bad governance hope you have enough fuel to assist others because this BAT statement will never normalize things any soon, every prices has started doubling up, God bless Nigerian.

OP you started well. But read senseless later.
I say senseless because you cannot Rob Peter to pay Paul. Nigeria has three fully built refineries located in Port Harcourt warri and kaduna.

Why did the petrol stations close? Any justification for this. Doesn't it show that the masses are their own problems and not even our leaders?

As daft as Peter Obi is...he himself made it point blank that he would removed the subsidy. It doesn't matter when it be removed. What matters is it removal. All hands are on deck for a successful government no matter how much the self deluded may want to cry.

Did tinubu tell them to close?

This is economy sabotage by the fuel stations, the state and federal government must do something about it.

As usual blame the masses for trying to survive instead of simply admitting that Tinubu made a very careless unofficial statement...of course what more could I expect from yoruba ronu cronies.

Buhari removed it at the end of his tenure and the earlier Tinubu made you all to know. This is one of the best moves by Tinubu. As early as possible so that we will stabilize as early as possible.

Am sure some of u widen minded people fought against this same subsidy removal at N145 per liter in 2014 even with many availability of palliative measures from GEJ. Secondly his blank statement of removal was reckless knowing the greedy nature of our marketers

Its only on Niaraland that dumb topics are approved and an incompetent employee bans you for being honest. Pathetic.
