Subsidy Removal: Tinubu Should Publicly Apologize To Goodluck Jonathan by Bobloco: 9:20am On May 30, 2023 |
In the wake of the January 2012 subsidy removal by the then president Goodluck Jonathan, Tinubu and his ilks criticised the policy and even went as far as sponsoring protests against it then. We all remembered the Occupy Nigeria protests Tinubu accused Goodluck Jonathan presidency of betraying its social contract with the people by suddenly removing fuel subsidy. We now ask, what has changed 11 Likes |

OP, Dat's why Jonathan is such a SLOW fellow for Embracing Tinubu last year and Shining Teeth with him. Tinubu sponsored Wole Soyinka, Tunde Bakare, Adams Oshiomhole and Nigerian Celebrities to ojota and they were Abusing Jonathan/PDP then in Feb 2012. Jonathan is NOT smart @all as a Person! 😒 4 Likes |

Vinnie2000:Jonathan avoided unnecessary death of Nigerians by embracing peace, go and read his book on the activities of the last days of his governance to learn how even foreign powers have deployed a ship load of soldiers on Ghanaian waters in the hope that BuhariOsibajo would lose the election thereby giving rise to violence by their supporters with the backing of interested western powers. 5 Likes |

Tinubu loves you so much that he removed subsidy and made your life more useless than when you enrolled as an Agbado supporter. You go still buy fuel for 350/liter, get ready to blame Peter Obi...spits Babalegba: 1 Like |

Dafresh:I've not been a supporter of fuel subsidy for years because I realized that corrupt Nigerians were using it to amass wealth and the poor mugged masses were hailing them. It was unworkable because Nigerians have propensity and natural affinity for thievery.Anyway beginnings are always rough and I would judge Tinubus performance in about two years time. You should be more concerned that you are living in a very corrupt country with sub standard humans who would do anything to the detriment of the country to amass wealth. |

Babalegba:Governance is not by rushing, a good leader study and analysis before taking decision. Tinubu would have made sure that our Refineries are working before removing subsidy. |
Re: Subsidy Removal: Tinubu Should Publicly Apologize To Goodluck Jonathan by Babalegba(m): 2:20pm On May 30, 2023 |
Dafresh:You made me laugh today ,refineries working lol. Are you in Nigeria at all. Nigerian government built refinery cannot work because of thievery.Dangote built his with about 19 billion dollars but Nigeria would build their own with 190 billion dollars and it would still not work. The economic predicament the country face dictates that subsidy is removed fast, that was why Buhari was anxious to remove it before leaving office. Tinubus quick action proves that he is mentality competent and willing to work. No shortcut to success and gains comes with pain and labour. |
