Recently it dawned on me that I have been really struggling to make new friends that we could consistently come together to explore some interests such as reading/studying together to sharpen our expertise, engaging in sport activities, and having some evening moments at the bar etc. on a consistent schedule.

Although, I have just about one person I do the bar thing with once in a blue moon, and a few friends at work that are helping to keep from getting lost in the abyss of loneliness but I have found that while most people like myself want to build such a tribe, consistency is often the factor that makes everything to crumble. For instance, I have seen occassions where in hindsight, the excuses that kept me from hanging out with people or attending a professional event were totally avoidable.

So, I thought about building an event planning and management tool that would use a gamified method to get people to commit to being punctual by wagering some amount of money, such that a non-punctual participant would forfeit their wager to those that are punctual.

So, I've been building https://waijer.co to see if I can be able to make my situation and anyone else's out there better.
