Could this be because of their close mixture with Yoruba people?

This is also a picture of Igbo Ofala ceremony, yet one can clearly see the traditional Yoruba agbadas/ lace.
PS: The colorful caribbean festival feather hat is not from Yoruba culture.

for those who do not know, this is a typical Igbo traditional attire. Red hat and the dress-like red (usually black with picture animation) attire.

Since when did those attire become a Yoruba exclusively dress style?  Did Yoruba invent it?  The hat, the beads, the wrapper, lace are all Yoruba? Okay ooh. Yoruba invented the sun shining on them, the sand they are standing on, and even the bird used to make the hats.

I do not see any culture mixture which defeats the purpose of the thread.  The only thing so far that supports the thread is the last picture with the man's hat and the woman's gele.  Gele being a yoruba creation is even debatable but we'll give it to yoruba since they are trying to take another man creation and claim na their own.

I see that Igbos are now trying to imitate the cultural similarity of Yorubas, Hausas and Arabs. Even though Yorubas design are more detailed with traditional assortments like lace, ankara, adire, etc.

Binis are not the only ones being influence. This is due to the large intertribal marriages between the Yorubas and people of Edo state.
Just like you have Cross River tribes influencing the Igbos cultural heritage, due to large intertribal marriages.

Bini's influence on Yoruba is still out for the jury to decide.
But being specific on modern influence, no tribe has yet to try that on the Yorubas. Each decade we make additional changes to our culture abd tradition. Our current wedding attire (with the fan) was not what it was 20/30yrs ago.
Our agbada are even more sophisticated than what the Hausas and Arabs can imagine.
Bini empire's influence can only be seen in some part Ondo state.

Leave ibo alone.
