yup....army is 4month, airforce 6monthx....navy used to 9month b4, rear admiral, ola saad took over, so d present CNS is trying to return back to 9 months

I don't think, nd i don't even want NN to b trained alongside with other forces, just imagine 21ak were trained from July 14- December ending in PH., while 22ak were trained from January 4 November 2013, of which they spent 3months in zaria with NA before returning to akaso to complete there training, which led to d delay of releasin 23&24 AK final list. NN shud train on dere own while other forces too do so. dis joint training of a thing is not a gud idea at all, abegi ......

i totally support ur opinion, but if d only of getting the job is that, i think we have no say in such decision my broda. Not to talk of those that died during the joint training...a remember a naval official telling us them that 3 has died there- and a rumour that a guy among us has a brother who is dead also.

i just got the long awaited admission into a uni that i've been struggling for years, and i belive my name is in the NN 23/24 upcoming list. Which do you tink i should take, cox my dad is about retiring from dis NN job, and i'm d 1st born of ma family, i'm realy confused ryt nw.
if you were wat would you have done?

hello my fellow 23/24AK aspirants, if you were to choose between goin to the uni and and being an NN personnel, which would you choose.
i'm asking dis because i js got admission into 1 of the uni's and my name is in the up coming 23/24 list. if yiu were in my shoes, which would you pick?

Let me advice you, my advise is that, you do which you tink best for you. And singad ur dad is in d system, he'll help you, you can join navy and attend open university while your working. Just my own plan though.

If ur fada leg is strong u can enter after ur uni.....if u succeed the level u will enter with will be more than if u pass through nnbts......if u serve nn for 4 years through nnbts u can't get to sub lueutenant within that 4 years u will be in school...Coming back to join with ur uni result that will be the best for u.....and if u can enter with ND as an engineer within 2years of ur course in sapele u will surly be commissioned ......so it depend with ur connection.

A friend of mine study eelectrical engineering coming out with his ND he join NN....now he is sub lieutenant .....and u can enter now and later have d chance to go to school.....so ur choice

If u re sure, dat ur name is among d shotlisted candidate, u can discuss it with ur Dad, he mite b in best position 2 advice u. Those who defile admission 4 military Job re those who don't hv d financial power 2 carry on tru d duration of 4 years. So d choice is ur 2 chose

If you love NN and want to go NN, I'll say that the bird at hand is better than nothing, so first dey go your uni, then anytime the name comes out and your name is there, you can quit uni and come join us after all you can still go uni after recruitment.

You might say your father is in the system therefore you get mouth, don't be too sure that of that oh. You know NN is not like NA where you fit pay money them no go even give you training, you pass, with NN, its hard to buy it with money, or still to enter via IM.
