You'll get a straight bus from Lagos to Calabar, its btw 8-12hrs journey depending on hw fast ur bus is; Tfare is btw 4K (Crosslines), 5-6K (Crosscountry/ABC). The transport companies re quite many in Ojuelegba.

From the other places u mentioned, Am nt sure if u'll get a straight bus (maybe Benin sha), u'll most likely av 2 take a bus 2 Onitsha first and den take anoda 2 calabar. It can be stressful though. Think Tfare is like 2.5K frm Onitsha 2 Calabar. Things re a little expensive there though if u've never really lived outside SW b4, Calabar's got a lot of nice hotels, n re easy 2 locate. Your money wld jst abt determine wch u'll lodge in sha. On match day, make sure u get dia as early as possible, crowds can be quite crazy. Enjoy your stay!

@ wascobaba

There is nothing like Calabar State, please correct that.

Let me guide you alittle.

From Akure, take a taxi to Benin Garage, from the garage, board a bus going to Onitsha. From Upper Iweka in Onitsha, board Cross Lines Bus or Peace Mass Transit but to Calabar Direct.
Go very early in the morning so as to meet the first bus going to Onitsha.
When you get to Calabar, there are hotels along Marian, Highway and eagerly. All the places i mentioned are close to the stadium. Hotel along Marian ranges between 5k to 7k. You will definatel enjoy your stay in Calabar.

For the duration of the journey, Akure to Onitsha should be around Three and half hours. Onitsha to Calabar should be around 4 hours. Hope my epistle helps
