you keep us united despite our differences
you put food on our tables even though our leaders starve us
you made us the Giant of Africa despite our folly
you keep us strong in spite of our many frailties
you sustain us in spite of Boko Haram and other wahala
oh God Almighty, who says you are not a Nigerian?
