The Movement For A Progressive Niger Delta (MFPND) is calling on all Niger Deltans Irrespective of Religious Creed, Political Affiliations or Ethnicity, to put concerted Efforts in advocating for a Peaceful Niger Delta Region, The MFPND understands the Ongoing hardships and difficulties facing the Indigenous people of The Niger Delta Region, and The MFPND shares in The Plight of the people of The Region, That is why The MFPND has taken it upon itself to champion the Cause of The People of the Region, and what is This cause? This cause is The cause of Unity, Love And Progress, we believe very much in these simple but Solid principles, we believe that if we as Indigenes of the Niger Delta come together in One accord, then we will be United in whatever we put our minds and hearts to do, and if we are United we would develop strong bonds of Love and Cordiality amongts ourselves, and if we as Niger Deltans can become Cordial and have immense Love for ourselves in this Region, then we would Have a very Progressive Niger Delta Region, and a More Progressive Nigerian Society at large, but in order for us to progress as a people we need PEACE, we need peace in Our homes, Peace in our Places of work, Peace in Our various places of worship Because, this peace, would transcend into a More Peaceful Niger Delta Region, and Peace is The needed spice for Development in the Niger Delta Region, and for this Reason, The MFPND is calling for all cessation of talks about disintegrating the Region, from the Larger Nigerian Society, The MFPND is calling on all Niger Deltans to avoid inciteful statements and gatherings that would seek to plunge the Region into violence and anarchy, War is never the answer, Peace is The answer, so let us all Give peace a chance, because it is with peace that we stand a chance of surviving in the coming New Government, and we believe that as we embrace peace, we will see and experience tremendous meaningful development in the Region. And in the famous words of a Great Nigerian leader, To Keep Nigeria One, is a Task That must be Done. Long Live The MFPND, And Long Live The Federal Republic Of Nigeria.
