Being a teenager comes with a lot of challenges, they can not confide in their parents but rather confide in their friends who may not have the right advice for them, the following are some of the reasons why teenagers can not freely talk to their parents:
1) some parents beat their children at d slightest provocation, thereby creating fear rather than respect in the children.
2) some parents feel that parenting is all about providing for the family rather than understanding that the children grow not just physically but also mentally.
3) some parents feel that spending time talking to their children is a waste of their own time.
Parents should avoid these things and b thier children's best friend.
