See as this young man, this star of his family has been wasted.

Any power waiting for my day of glory to waste me, God of Elijah, destroy them!

Mr writer, does one become a surgeon straight out of medical(dental) school? What happened to housemanship, NYSC, then specialisation/fellowship?

On Tuesday the 26th of January, 2016 the College of Medical Sciences University of Maiduguri held her 2016 attestation and oath taking ceremony for medical and dental graduates.

Dr Aminudeen Ibrahim Idris, 26, from Dambam LGA of Bauchi state (pictured above) took oath as a dental surgeon and the best graduating student with‎ record breaking academic achievement of 3 distinctions out the 4 final year clinical courses in dentistry.

Aminudeen died on Friday 29th January, 2016 in a ghastly motor accident along Damagum axis on his way back‎ from Maiduguri having collected his certificate of practice from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria at the oath-taking ceremony.

He is described by teachers as an intelligent and industrious fellow who is humble with deep interest for research and learning.

His colleagues and friends took to his facebook page to pay glowing tributes to the intelligent brand new Dentist who died at his prime…

‘I lost a very dear brother, family friend, leader, colleague and perfect gentleman’. Ameenah Mustapha ‘The memories will forever linger in our hearts, rest in peace brother’ Zaharadeen Aliyu ‘For now I am short of words, as I feel so devastated. May Aminu find eternal peace’ Mukhtar Jarmajo ‘Oh Aminudeen an epitome of greatness… May his gentle soul rest in peace’ Kefas wida

May his soul rest in peace, amen.

This is so saddening. Imagining how the parents wld be nw, after toiling and suffering to raise a Dr, then u lose it all in 3 days. Life is nothing but vanity upon vanity. Smiling and chatting one minute, gone the next. We all came wt an expiry date, who knows when one's time will be up?

May his soul RIP and may Allah grant his family d fortitude to bear d loss
