2. Add the result from no.1 above to your JAMB score. So if the guy in question has a JAMB score of 280,
his sum will be (260 + 280 = 540).

3. The final grade is gotten by dividing 540 by (2) This gives 270.

In summary: The cut off mark is calculated by taking average of
UTME and Post UTME scores. It is
still possible however that someone with scores less than the official cut off point will gain admission. This is possible if the candidate in question
is from states considered to be a
Catchment Area.
