How I Graduated With A 4.57 CGPA by 1cor2v9: 9:37am On Sep 02, 2016
DISCLAIMER: THIS POST WILL MAKE SENSE ONLY TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN GOD, THE SUPERNATURAL AND IN MIRACLES...

January 2011 I was admitted into Obafemi Awolowo University and like most guys I resumed with the determination to study hard and graduate with a first class. After my first semester on campus I had a G.P of 4.2 which I was not so happy with but I kept my determination alive.
I kept on pursuing this first class thing till my part 3 first semester but nothing happened

After my first semester 300 level I decided to stop pursuing this first class thing. Before resuming for the next semester I had a series of experiences and encounters that made me make a decision to begin to pursue God and take God serious, in other word I decided to enter a love relationship with God.
Before this time I had given my life to Christ years ago but I never took it serious until the middle part of 2013. Henceforth I decided to live my life pleasing God, walking in His ways , and serving Him with my time strength and even my resources.
After making this decision I resumed for my second semester 300L and suddenly things changed academically. From my second semester 300L till my graduation I had only 3B's and the rest were all A's leading to me ending with a CGPA of 4.57.(To God alone be the Glory)
What really happened?...... Well I will say that after making a decision to stop pursuing first class and take God serious the first class started pursuing me till it caught me.... simply put God began to bless my hustle academically. Exams questions were set to my favour and I began to assimilate faster the concepts taught in class.. In one occasion I mysteriously came in contact with and studied two textbooks for a courses only to enter the exams Hall to see that the two hottest questions were lifted from those textbooks.......
Indeed making a decision to take God serious is the best decision I have made in my little years on earth.
For those who Believe in God and in miracles all I can say is that PURSUE GOD , TAKE HIM SERIOUS AND EVERYTHING YOU WANT AND DESIRE WILL COME PURSUING YOU..... GIVE IT A TRY AND YOU WON'T REGRET.

Keep on spreading the good news to help people know the true way. I remember I once shed tears on my books because I could not understand anything. The books were written in English but everything seems like Arabic but since I started putting God first, doing His will and praying before I start reading, each book I read now seems as if I wrote the book myself and have read it several times before because everything is just as simple as ABC... I never knew until now that understanding and strenght to study all comes from God.

Since I invited God into my life, no book I have ever read that I don't comprehend with ease even if the book is from Jupiter.

Yes typical African mind. He cannot take credit for his hard work, would rather point it to the deity of Israel. Dark Continent for sure.

Mine is that there is no semester that comes with out me failing either two courses or one or three. My confidence has really gone down. It's not as if I don't read my books. Now I'm left with a 3rd class. I don't know if school is meant for everyone Shaa. Though I'm terribly depressed.

First of all, Set goals(what Gp do you want to make this semester), then priority.
Believe in Yourself
Even when you don't meet up, Don't ever give up, Praise yourself you can do better (i remembered when i failed Jss 3 Exams, my mom told me, that wasn't my result and by the time i took it again, i had the best result ever, including my waec, I inspired my set OGSA 2010, to have the best result in the whole school history)

Yeah just reading and reading with acute understanding are two different things entirely. I know some people who read from morning to night but the best grade they get is a C.

Understanding and strenght to study all comes from God. Without understanding, you can't spend long time with your books but when you have the understanding, reading up to 6 hours becomes very easy because you dont battle with the book, but you enjoy it just the way you enjoy music.

Before you start reading, pray asking God to give you understanding and retentive memory to recall all you've read and you will get them in abundance. But mind you, there can be a wall blocking your voice from reaching the ears of God and that wall is sin. You must abstain from anything sinful, be kind to others and do good always with compassion and pray to God with a clean heart and clear conscience and your prayer will be answered.
