Good afternoon house, i need a format of writing a good undergraduate project proposal. I also need the help of biochemists in this forun to enlighten me more on rhodanese - an enzyme that detoxifies cyanogenic glucoside.

The format is as thus
CHAPTER ONE:
Background of Study : this covers a brief introduction into the research/project . Try to hit the keywords contained in your project for example rhodanese- an enzyme that detoxifies cyanogenic glucoside you batter on enzymes, glucoside , cyanogenic etc.

Statement of problem(s) : The problem(s) your research wishes to solve . Here you'll need to state out this problem(s) their impact , disadvantages etc.

Justification: Why you're carrying out the research. You need to justify your project . You should use the statement of problem and relate it to why you wish to carry out your research.

Aim: The aim of your study . Usually in one sentence e.g the aim of this research/study is at evaluating/accessing the ........ Project title comes in.

Objective(s) : What you wish to accomplish with your research .
E.g the specific objective of this study is to determine the impact of rhodanese enzymes on .......

Scope and Limitations : not all schools use this format , my school didn't . This should state the extend and Limitations of your study.

Next you move straight to chapter three materials and methods, no need for chapter two literature review since this is a proposal.

CHAPTER THREE
Materials and Methods , use future tense here . For example if the study area is in Wuse , Abuja . The proposal will be in this format.
Study Area: The study will be conducted in Wuse , Abuja. Wuse is ..................

Sample Collection :

Sample Analysis: procedures and methods to be used . Don't forget to cite the correct authors for each method and remember in future tense.

Good luck in your endeavors
