The Governors Forum rose last night from its meeting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, endorsing the planned deregulation of the downstream oil sector. It said the policy was the best, if the country is serious about making petroleum products available to the people. The forum chairman, Governor Bukola Saraki of Kwara State, said the President has the governors’ backing in deregulating the sector. |
