When you have access to application letters, you'll see letters worse than this from bsc holders.
But not from B. Tech holders.

If Fed. Poly is bad, how about this office blunder from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), written by a Head of Unit?

Ok....now everybody is condemning this girl and I believe there are many of us here who fall below this girl's standard. If you feel you are better than this girl, I challenge you to point out all the errors in the Application Letter and submit a corrected version. I promise to send a N1000 worth airtime to a correct version.

But seriously this school suppose upgrade as per academics. They churn out a lot of poorly educated graduates even by Naija standards.

LETTER OF APPLICATION
My name is ....... I am 21 years old, I just graduated with an ordinary diploma [OND] from the federal polytechnic nekede owerri, I was so much interested when I heard about the vacancy in your hotel so I decided to apply. I will be so grateful working in this noble hotel, I have worked at links hotel owerri as a receptionist with vast experience in customer relations. Once again, I will be grateful if I am allowed to work in this hotel.
Thanks.
No one is completely flawless when it comes to speaking and writing in English language.. In as much as I must commend your effort to have come up with the corrected version, you still failed to put punctuation marks where appropriate

My dear you really tried. Your punctuation marks still need to be upgraded. Secondly, we were taught that nouns must start with CAPITAL letters.
See highlighted words. They are supposed to start with CAPS.

Wrong bro.

First, is there any application that is not a letter?
Since all applications are letters, (they must be addressed to someone) you need not say "LETTER OF APPLICATION". In this case, the application is for employment and the heading should therefore be "APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT".

Secondly, the emboldened is wrong.

Eg, table is a noun. If I say "look at the table", is it wrong?

The nouns that should be with initial upper case letters are called Proper Nouns. As long as they don't commence sentences, Common Nouns can be spelt with initial lower case letters.
There are several other minor mistakes, but these are the main ones.

My little contribution.

Are you for real? You mean that Ordinary Diploma (OND) and Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, should not start with capital letters? This is a serious case.

Well, u may be correct depending on the schools you attended.
