The amount quoted is it meant for the masses that survive on very few dollars a day? Nigeria needs to subsidize education since education is the foundation of any successful nation. Some of the fallout of this high cost of formal education in this country include robbery of any form as seen in the country now, moral contempt, depression in the populace, even Nigeria life expectancy is as low as 47yrs. It is a pity. Exercise patriotism for a minute: I'm sure you will see how lovely it is!

Thank God for BABCOCK UNIVERSITY, few people compare their school fees with other schools without knowing the composition of the school fees. To me, their fees is low with but of quality delivery. Accommodation, feeding, ICT, medical services etc is embedded in the school fees. They likewise help to ensure that a student who lost his/her guardian or sponsor is cared and catered for.

With NUC accrediting more universities the tuition of most private universities would reduce further. I just hope some of these private unis would still exists in 15 years time. One wouldn't want to go to a school that would crash 5 yrs later after someone has graduated. U go explain to employer tire grin

The fee quoted for Oduduwa university is misleading. That fee is per semester not for a whole section. I have two younger ones in Oduduwa and their fee is as high as crazy when you add accommodation and other expenses. The school do not give value for their money.

Ritman University Ikot Ekpene @ 350k is relatively cheap. Applicants shld take advantage of it, instead of enrolling into these public versities with 4+x years of graduation. Note, with ASUU incessant strike, x tends to infinity.

All these religious universities were built on the backs and finances of the poor laity, yet the tuition is set so high that the poor members can never afford it.

I don't know why it is so hard for people like you to reason.

How much money can the poor afford? WHO defines poverty as living on less than $1.26 a day. So tell me how a poor man who earns N18,000 minimum wage who can hardly eat once in 2 days can afford to pay for the construction of a world class facility.

Meanwhile, if you look critically, you would see that education is indeed a good stuff to invest on.
Private schools in abuja are very expensive, therefore Baze uni and Turkish-Nile uni can't be an exception.
