It'll be best if u say this during an occassion when most of your family members will be around (extended family included),say like christmas(its just about 4something days away)i think christmas eve will be just fine,after dinner,tell them you've got some important and very joyful news to share,then stand in the middle of the room and say,I'M GAY and i don't really care wat any of you think,am just telling you guys cos i don't want you to hear it from someplace else,don't even think of saying anything cos you can't stop me,its my life and i alone decide how i'm gonna live,if you are not cool with it then to hell with you,after saying this,stick 2 fingers in the air and say PEACE,the way its done in movies and then majesticaly bounce out on them.trust me this is the best approach to this issue.best of luck,i know you'll be back to thank me.

i don't agree with ^^^^ whywould you possibly ruin everyone's holiday by having the whole family there.
i think it would best if you told those you are close to first like your siblings and maybe your mom because i can imagine that your dad would be the least person to understand your plight. if you told some people who are cool with it then when it's time to tell the rest you will at least have some support in the audience.
